Providing a variety of indoor and outdoor activites for girls aged 10 to 14

1st Leiston Guides is part of the Guide Association, an international movement for girls and women. Our aims are educational, personal development and knowledge of the world and the people in it.

We are a District of Girlguiding and run a HQ building, the building is used by the local community.The building serves a diverse community.

Programme of activities, to be used during unit meetings, is supplied by the Guide Association resources. Variious charitable works are also undertaken under supervision of the leaders.

Organisation of activities, particularly those with an outdoor theme, for girls aged between 6 and 18, and their leaders in Haywards Heath (West Sussex)

The Foundation provides funding for subsidised mental health counselling to women, girls and female identifying people who are experiencing mental health issues as a result of a sex/gender based harm.
