Girlguiding

To promote & protect the human rights of women and girls around the world, primarily in Zimbabwe, affected by gender-based violence by: - Raising awareness of domestic abuse and gender-based violence - Relieving the needs of victims of domestic and gender-based violence through: running economic empowerment workshops and self defense classes - Raising funds to support victims.

Provide sailing activities for girls and young women through Girlguiding Somerset, with a view to developing their self-confidence, self-respect and self-awareness.

Charitable donations to young people born in immediate area to support further education and donations to young women born in area on their marriage. Applicable only to people born in Langport, Somerset.

To provide special facilities additional to those ordinarily offered by the local education authority for the benefit of boys and girls who are or have been in attendance at public elementary or secondary school

Girlguiding Selby Central District is part of Girlguiding UK and as such is part of a worldwide movement which enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

Girl Guiding Activities

The aim of the youth club shall be to help encourage and educate girls and boys through their leisure time activities so as to develop their moral, physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and worthwhile members of society and that their conditions of life and prospects may be improved.

Activities and promotion of girls following the guidelines laid down by Girlguiding UK

A variety of fund-raising activities to support a wide variety of charities at home and abroad eg 'children with Leukaemia', Mary's Meals, children's hospices, UNICEF education for girls, are all supported in particular this year.

The advancement of education of the public, including, but without limitation, by the provision of scholarships and other financial assistance to pupils or former pupils of Tonbridge Grammar School.

Barnsley Central Division is part of Girl Guiding UK. A female organisation run by women for girls and women from the age of 5 to 65. We aim to provide diverse activities for girls of all ages to encourage social skills, confidence and overall, fun in a safe and caring environment.

We provide football for boys and girls aged from 8 to 12 years inclusive regardless of race or religion and apart from asking parents for a small annual membership fee the football is provided free of charge.

The Womens Insitute Is based onthe ideals of fellowship, truth,tolerance and justice, embracing the interests of both rural and urban communities.The main purpose is to advancethe education of women and girls for the public benefit.

Sparks provides comprehensive support to orphaned girls through variety of enriching activities and services aimed at fostering their emotional well-being and personal growth.
