The teaching of courses with DVDs on Qur'anic Arabic are benefiting adults male and female in Birmingham but thousands of people internationally on satellite TV. The QAF project on Bayt al-Qur'an, the House of Wisdom and Peace, the first of its kind in the West. It will attract scholars from the world over, who will be benefiting from a large number of Arabic manuscripts in Europe.

WE PROVIDE THE FACILITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BOTH LOCALLY AND OTHERWISE TO CARRY OUT A RANGE OF DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT VARIOUS EVENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUND-RAISING, EDUCATION AND BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER. Stourton Memorial Hall was built by the late Sir Henry Arthur Hoare as a permanent memorial to his son Captain "Harry" Hoare and other local men killed in WWI.

This project is intended to combat loneliness and isolation amongst older adults in East Preston and surrounding areas. To mitigate the effects of social isolation and provide worthwhile, stimulating and engaging activities and provide a safe place for older adults to meet others, learn new skills, work in groups and collaborate on projects that benefit the community.

Development of music in our home area through concerts and related activities

The Church arranges or participates in a number of activities to this end, namely Bible Conferences, Marriage Seminars, Mens Discipleships, Revival Meetings with visiting preachers and Tent Crusades (home and abroad). The Berkshire County Girls Football League, provides developmental and competitive football for girls from ages 7 to 18. It also supports player, coach & referee development through the provision of courses/events or through its managers' meetings. We are one of the nations Men's Shed part of UKMSA, to provide a workshop and social centre particularly for but not exclusively for men, to help maintain their health and wellbeing, make new friends and enjoy working together on a range of projects, and assist the local community in practical ways whenever possible.

Providing resources for the advancement of education and training in Sierra Leone, particularly females facing social exclusion. Supporting the relief of poverty in Sierra Leone, and providing relief to families suffering from the aftermath of the Ebola crisis. The Charity built a bakery to provide affordable nutritious food for a local community near Freetown during this period.

Makes grants to charities based in the Diocese of Chester to assist females and children.

We provide social and practical activities for isolated or vulnerable men in Lancaster and the surrounding area, as well as providing signposting to other more specialist organisations. Our aim is to help alleviate social isolation and to promote better physical and mental health and general wellbeing. We provide a safe space for clients to meet, converse and share interests.

The activities will include a recreational area for Pool, Table Tennis, Darts and a seating area. Downstairs in the basement will be a workshop for different groups under the Mens Shed activities where projects, mending, refurbing items or general DIY will be catered for and learning skills from different trades when available.
