We seek to further the understanding and appreciation of choral music with an emphasis on male voices. We offer concerts to support othercharities in raising funds whilst, at the same time, bringing a wider audience to the experience of listening to Male Voice choirs. We join with other Male Voice choirs throughout our region to enhance the quality of the music and increase membership.

SheCanEngineer works to address the gender gap in the engineering industries. Activities include:Educational events in primary and secondary school aimed at, in particular, but not exclusively females.Raising awareness in diversity, equity & inclusion within engineering industries - with a focus on gender.Providing an on-line presence promoting education for all in engineering.

The provision of choral concerts to assist charities, both local and national, in their efforts to raise funds for their particular causes. In a typical year we give some 10 - 15 concerts and raise in the region of £10,000 - £15,000.

Our charity helps to prevent social exclusion of men aged 18 and over by providing a workshop facility. At the workshop, associated meeting room and cafe area, they can undertake creative, physical and recreational activities, learn to pass on and acquire new skills and knowledge, support each other socially and help with community based projects.

The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall that was built in memory of the men of the village of Downley who lost their lives in the two World Wars. Hall was built in 1924.

We meet weekly to build musical repertoire. We go out between 10-20 times each year to sing in aid of charitable causes. We also perform at hospitals, private and public homes (senior citizens), churches, chapels, village halls and schools.

We exist to support the older men in our local community by providing a space for them to meet and either just chat or engage in light work repairing or constructing small wooden items that give a sense of satisfaction and pride, a sense of wellbeing.

On 19 May 2011 new trustees were appointed and we will become active in local community again.

To promote social inclusion for the public by preventing adults within the Brundall area from becoming socially excluded relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society through the provision of facilities in which they can meet to undertake creative physical or recreational activities learn or pass on skills & knowledge.

Male voice choir - enabling those interested in choral singing in the North East of Wales to enhance their quality of life & through public performances bring pleasure to the general public.It also enables the choir to raise considerable sums of money for local & national charities.

By providing a social centre for men to explore creative projects that required a level of hand-skills, this has helped our members to maintain and strengthen social links and supported them to remain integral and useful members of their local community as their lives move on and change.

The management of the war memorial institute building, letting for income and management of village hall and leisure facilities.

To fulfill the following objectives in Kenya and other developing countries:(1) to advance the education of children e.g.through the provision of teachers and other volunteers, grants, school equipment and other items and services to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty(2) the advancement of female empowerment

Provides a village hall building, with a main hall at ground floor level plus stage, kitchen, male & female cloakroom facilities and disabled toilet. Upstairs a meeting room and bar. Hall is used by all organisations in BEER for meetings, sports (eg badminton, bowls) and other recreational activities (eg dance classes, pilates, pantomime, dinners/dances, WI, RNLI, craft, fairs).

Drawing in, encouraging and developing local people of all backgrounds and experiences in singing for pleasure and fellowship, providing entertainment and appreciation of choral music locally, and supporting community events, as well as partnering local charities and good causes, and encouraging young musicians. We are inclusive and operate over wide area of mid Somerset, centred on Glastonbury.
