The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance, or by giving or taking part in such musical events as the Committee recommends to the Choir, or competing at Music Festivals at the discretion of the Musical Director. To help such charitable institutions or purposes as the Committee shall determine.

We are a charity that enables men to work together in a practical and social environment. We make items and join in social activities. This decreases loneliness in predominantly men and improves their mental health. We work under the umbrella of Men In Sheds UK

The cadets, both male and female between the ages of 9 and 18 years, are taught nautical skills such as sailing, power boating, canoeing. They also take part in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

Concerts to raise money for other charities, held in local churches and concert halls.

A community based church, which provides a place for people to feel at home. We have services throughout the week. We also offer counselling and support groups especially for young people, mothers, men and a weekly children's service. We are like a family and welcome anyone who is looking for a place to come and meet different people from all walks of life.

The fund is for the benefit of the founder's kin and boys and young men between the ages of 9 and 25 who are resident in the North or East Ridings of Yorkshire or in the County of Somerset to assist with their education by grant of Prowdes Exhibitions to candidates approved by the Trustees in their absolute discretion.

To help various local charitable groups with their fund raising by performing music at functions that they organise. We perform mainly within the confinements of Pembrokeshire, however we have on rare occasions travelled further afield to parts of the UK

Steeton male voice choir gives concerts mainly in its own area but also in other parts of the country and abroad. It performs in a wide variety of concert halls, cathedrals & churches but also does concerts and workshops in nursing homes & schools.

CONCERTS ARE GIVEN BY INDIVIDUAL CHOIRS WITHIN THE NORTH WALES FEDERATION IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES WITH THE BENEFIT OF PROMOTING MALE VOICE SINGING FOR ALL AGES WITHIN LOCAL COMMUNITIES. CONCERTS HAVE BEEN HELD RECENTLY AT BOTH BANGOR AND WREXHAM WHEN SMALLER CHOIRS COMBINED TO GIVE CONCERTS TO LARGER AUDIENCES IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

The objects of The Choir shall be:- To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means that the trustees feel fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals;- To further such charitable purpose or purposes as the trustees see fit.

Our primary purpose is to prevent social isolation, particularly in older men, within the communities of Denby Dale and its surrounding villages. We provide a materials based workshop equipped with tools, machinery and facilities, necessary for woodworking, light engineering and associated hobbies and practical interests. Men can make and repair, working individually or in teams.

The main aim of the choir is to give concerts to raise funds for a range of organisations in the area. Two of the concerts are major events one of which enables us to support a very worthwhile organisation with a donation. The recipient body changes from year to year. The choir also provides an annual bursary to a Keele University music student.

The Choir supports local charities and organisations by performing at concerts mainly in the south of Hampshire but occasionally elsewhere in the UK and abroad. To provide a means of social and recreational facilities to all persons residing within the parishes of Corse & Staunton and their invited guests.To foster, develop and control the pursuit of amateur sport encouraging an atmosphere of goodwill and friendship.To encourage active participation by all elements of the community, in particular, the young and female members.

Providing opportunities for members to meet together at weekly choir practice sessions and develop their singing capabilities in a non-threatening and welcoming environment. Performing at formal and informal events to entertain local communities and help raise money for good causes and charities.

Washington Boxing Club is a community based Boxing Club that teaches/supports boxing and fitness.We have male and female teams with both junior and senior team members. We participate in competitions and championships throughout the country and also abroad.We help support Mental Health.

Muslim prayer sessions at the Centre (Grd Floor and First Floor) for male and female seven days a week. To entertain and to promote and support music in the local area by giving people the chance to be a member of a male voice choir.

The choir has a professional musical director and accompanists who receive an honorarium. The choir rehearses once a week (Sunday evenings) and sings at concerts in the Chester, Wirral and North Wales areas to raise funds for various charities.

A NON-POLITICAL, NON-SECTARIAN CHOIR WHO SEEK TO INTEREST THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF SINGING BY PARTICIPATING AND ASSISTING IN CONCERTS AND SIMILAR ACTIVITIES. THROUGH THESE ACTIVITIES THE CHOIR IS ALSO ABLE, ON OCCASIONS, TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO A NUMBER OF LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS.
