A social charity mainly aimed at older men. The activities are of a practical nature mainly centred around making and repairing things out of wood. The charity brings together men who have time on their hands and it helps men avoid loneliness, boredom and gives them a sense of purpose when they collaborate on making various things for the local community.

We provide counselling sessions to males in need of someone to talk to help support their mental health and in aim to reduce the risk of suicide

Ascot Shed is a community workshop space offering locals the opportunity to engage in practical activities, learn and practise skills, share their expertise & experience, and socialise with like-minded people.Donated machinery, tools and materials are used to improve the facilities and expand our capabilities. Funding covers legal costs and buys new equipment, spare parts and consumables.

To promote the public benefit by social inclusion, and physical, mental and emotional welfare in Harlow Hill, Harrogate and surrounding areas to encourage adults ( particularly but not exclusive men) who may otherwise become socially excluded or isolated through age, retirement, redundancy, incapacity, bereavement or boredom to meet on a regular basis, engaging in constructive pursuits together.

The Tidworth and Ludgershall Mens Shed is a group providing support and companionship for a range of people in the area of Tidworth and Ludgershall. We provide the opportunity to learn new skills in our own workshop and often practice those skills helping others in the community.

Topics covered include: A Passion for Churches, Astrology, Art, Book Reading, Bowling, Bridge, Contemporary Social Issues, Cooking by Men, Creative Writing, Current Affairs, Embroiderers, Enjoying Music, Gardening, Genealogy, History,Modern Photography, Opera, Personal Finance, Philosophy, French, Latin, Recorder, Roman Studies, , Spanish, Theatre, Walking, Weekend Lunch Group

To provide a social hub for men (but not exclusively for men) to reduce social exclusion in the community, to practice woodworking skills using facilities they would not otherwise have access to as well as promoting a greater awareness of environmental issues and developing a positive attitude towards the reuse, repair, repurposing and recycling of materials with an emphasis on reducing waste.

It is our intention to hold the following support session.Bible studies for children and youths.Individual prayer sessions/spiritual counseling.Prayer meetings for all ages.Food pantry services provide food to families and members of the community in crisis. Visiting and helping the sick, and elderly and to give support and assistance to female victims of Domestic violence.

Fund raising activities include Hire of Parish Hall for - Local and National Elections - Community Markets - Art and Craft Fairs - Blackbelt Club - Gardening Society - Bingo - Band Practice - Under Fives and Childrens Parties - Mens Inst. - Parish Meetings Disco - Schools Activities - Flea Market - Summer Art Show - Etc.

The shed is currently in its start-up phase, and all energies are being directed to bringing the shed, which has been given to us by Bingley council, up to scratch so that it can warmly welcome members from the start of April.As much as the activities the club will entertain will be reliant on what the members want to do, it is expected that woodworking and gardening will dominate the activities

This is a group of elderley people in the Preston Lancashire area meeting regularly for conversation and passing on of information when any help is required. We also have outings several times a year

Wilden Shedders ia a group of individuals who come together and utilise their skills and knowledge of handicraft to benefit the local community as well as promoting and safeguarding their own mental health.

Skipton Men's Shed meets in a community workshop equipped with tools, machinery and facilities for woodworking, light metal work and associated hobbies and practical interests. Additionally we have a social area where men can enjoy recreational and leisure pursuits, make friends & learn skills in a respectful and supportive environment.

We are a self-supporting/self-funding community social group

The objectives are to advance the arts, in particular the art of the ancient tradition of the all-male choirs, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of grants and financial assistance to Cathedrals, Chapels Royal, Churches, University and College Chapels, other ecclesiastical choral foundations, schools and communities.

We perform charitable concerts for local senior citizens organisations/homes & religious organisations. We organise and perform biannual celebrity concerts bringing well known classical artists to the area for the entertainment and enjoyment of local residents and visitors.

The object of the choir shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science or choral music in all it aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts and by such other way as the choir may determine from time to time.
