From Jan 2012 to Mar 2020 The Shelter Project Hounslow (TSPH) volunteers provided homeless men with a warm meal, overnight accommodation and breakfast over winter months in local Christian churches. Such communal shelters are not compliant with Covid regulations so TSPH now operates as Cafe Together to offer a warm welcome and a hot meal to the vulnerable in society more generally.

Men's Shed providing a safe space for men to meet in a workshop environment

We provide opportunities for people in South Manchester to get involved in wood working and making projects. The aim is to support people to improve health and well being while providing assistance to the local community. Projects can be individual ones or larger projects such as building infrastructure for a community garden. We have a former shop unit which has been converted into workshops.

THE TORRIDGE MALE VOICE CHOIR WILL PERFORM CONCERTS FOR OTHER CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY BODIES AT CENTRES OF THEIR CHOICE.

Cleobury Mortimer Men's Shed (CMMS) aims to combat loneliness and isolation in men over 18 and alleviate the associated health conditions, including mental health issues, faced by men. We provide a safe, purpose built workshop, built by the charity where men can work, learn and share their knowledge working shoulder to shoulder.

- Mentoring of Men / Young Men (Youth)- Prison visits / ministry- Teaching based on The Bible with special emphasis on "the role & responsibilities of men" in all areas of society- Distribution of Books and DVDs- All are invited, non-denominational (entry criteria is being born male)

We perform concerts mainly at local churches and church halls to allow them to raise money. We also have our own fund raising concerts and part of that money is donated to the local charity's such as Halton Haven Hospice.At our Christmas concert we donated to the charity Zoe's Place Baby Hospice. These performances take place mainly on Merseyside and in Cheshire.

A boys club providing sport, recreation and leisure time activities for boys and young men.

For the benefit of primarily men 18 plus in the Winterton area, including the retired, unemployed or those with health problems, facilities for hobbies, recreation & other leisure time occupations including practical interests, skills sharing, learning new skills and helping with community based projects

The development and production of new plays and film. We work with writers with a global viewpoint and with female writers in particular. Now based in St Albans at Trestle Arts Base and working on projects for Hertfordshire and national touring.

WE ORGANISE PURELY RELIGIOUS PROGRAMME FOR SHIA MUSLIM MEN, WITHOUT ANY INVOLVEMENT WITH CURRENT OR POLITICAL ISSUES. IN OUR PROGRAMMES, VOLUNTARY SPEAKER ARE INVITED AND BASIC REFRESHMENTS ARE DISTRIBUTED AT THE END OF PROGRAMMES.

Religious education consonant to Muslim Asna Ashri school of thought by organising special classes, majalis, seminars, workshops and celebrations of religious festivals, to create inter and intra faith harmony with special emphasis on children and females, ensuring true interpretation of Holy Quran to create tolerant muslims in pursuance of the message of Ahelabait (AS)

The Church conducts a variety of outreach programmes within the local community including the 'feed me' programme to help feed & clothe the homeless & the 'prison ministry' programme to encourage female prisoners to be strong upon release.

The Club is a social venue for over 55s and has a current membership of 78 male and female ,we are open six days per week for various activities including, recently, technology facilities.we have outings and holidays though out the year and various sport participation, ie Bowling and external social events, we try to do some work for local charities where ever possible .
