Scheherazade Initiatives runs participatory theatre workshops with migrant and refugee populations in the UK and abroad.

In England and Wales, we work alongside women migrants and their dependants. We provide basic necessities,interpretation/translation/advocacy. We guide on health/housing /welfare benefits and interview techniques advice.In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we empower socially and economically disadvantaged women and girls living in rural areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo

to develop the capacity and skills of the members of socially and economically disadvantaged communities, in particular, but not exclusively to migrants, BME, and deprived communities, in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in societyto promote the relief of migrants, asylum seekers, members of BME, and deprived communities

THE PURPOSE OF FRIENDS OF REFUGEES LONDON IS THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONG PEOPLE WHO ARE SEEKING ASYLUM, THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, AND VULNERABLE MIGRANTS IN LONDON WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, TO RELIVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE, AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.

CKFF support migrant communities (mainly but not exclusively) from French-speaking West African countries to integrate in the UK by skilling and up-skilling them through adult education and vocational training. We also support parents with parental classes and help them understand the differences between bringing up children in the UK and other parts of the world.

Women and Digital Inclusion (WODIN) established in 2020 as a CIC now a charity, we predominantly but not exclusively promote the welfare of Black migrant women in Merseyside. We work with migrant women and families, many first-generation immigrants, facing poverty, destitution, poor mental and physical health. We provide a space for them to be brave, vulnerable and learn digital skills.

Welcome to Badminton promotes equality, tolerance, open mindedness and a culture of sharing skills. We bring refugees, asylum seekers and migrants together from the city centre and the wider region to learn/play sports (primarily badminton, volleyball and table tennis). We aim to help promote a healthy lifestyle, reduce loneliness and isolation and help people to manage stress and anxiety.
