People First Dorset empowers people with learning disabilities to be independent, have their voices heard and be included in community life.

Providing voices & choices for Autistic people & people who have a learning disability. Devon Link Up supports people in building up links & networks in the community as well as supporting people in having a say in the way in which they live their lives. Also provides opportunities for people to have real lives in the community & gives opportunities for people to meet up with friends old and new.

1. To relieve people of all ages who are diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder and in particular by the provision of support and assistance to such persons and their families and carers.2. People First is an organisation run by and for people with learning difficulties to raise awareness of and campaign for the rights of people with learning difficulties and to support self advocacy groups across the country.

West Area Project provides relief for people with learning disabilities and/or autism and their families or carers, who live in Nottingham city and its surrounding area by providing day and evening activities and support. This service is provided at a centre, in the community and occasionally in the member's home.

Basingstoke Mencap works for the relief of people with learning disabilities in particular by the provision of help and support for them and their families, dependents and carers.The society also provides or assists in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for people who have a learning disability.

The Rosenbaum Charitable Trust aims to provide and support many charities including, youth work, encouraging positive wellbeing of young people. The Charity also supports people suffering from learning disabilities.

Helping adults with learning difficulties

A local charity affiliated to but financially independent of the Royal Mencap Society.We work in Liverpool and Sefton with adults who have a mild- moderate learning disability. We aim to prevent social isolation and enable people to progress. ASD Rainbows is registered with CIW and provides therapeutic intervention for children with autism or communication delay. THEY ARE ACTIVE IN MANY AREAS SUCH AS HEALTH, SCHOOLING, DISABILITIES, LEARNING DIFFICULTIES, WELL DRILLING, DRUG DEPENDENCY, FARMING, AND INCOME GENERATION. WE AIM TO HELP THE NEEDY IRRESPECTIVE OF BELIEF.
