The Soundroom is a community music charity which offers music and arts activities for a range of participants, including adults with learning disabilities, children, young and older people. The Soundroom also provides affordable rehearsal and recording facilities. The charity works for the public benefit and aims to advance education in music and the arts in Gateshead and surrounding areas.

Sam's Place supports children and young adults who have physical, sensory or learning disabilities, life reducing conditions or complex needs.The charity provides opportunities for enterprise/learning to encourage employability skills; recreational and social facilities, and activities, to promote inclusion, peer networks and reduce isolation; information, advice, guidance for the whole family.

A Summary of the main activities include; Developing and running activities, events, programmes and coaching sessions that have been available to hard to reach group such as: disengaged pupils at local secondary schools, deprived areas, young people with learning disabilities and inactive groups.

The Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund raised money to help the pupils of Holly Grove Primary School who have learning difficulties and disabilities. We raise money to send these children on residential trips, help fund sensory and medical equipment and provide grants to families in need.

Castledon School is a school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and autisitic spectrum disorders.

The aim of the Notables is to promote the musical skills and creative and social independence of people with learning disabilities in Coventry. Weekly music workshops led by community musicians assisted by volunteers enables members to acquire skills in singing, instrumental work composition and song writing, and to play together in a band. The band performs at local events and festivals.

We provide support groups for individuals affected by Tourettes Syndrome to meet others and access support. We provide a sibling support group for children with siblings who have SEND. For the first time, New Visuality has worked with ceramicists and object-makers and exhibited their work in city centre locations.New Visuality continues to run art camps during every school holiday, work with young people with disabilities and learning difficulties and run graduate-curated exhibitions. Pear Tree Holiday Club provides childcare and respite for children of all abilities aged 3-16. Approximately one third of children attending the Holiday Club have learning difficulties and disabilities.

Autism Support Crawley is a parent/carer support group for parents, or other relations caring for a person on the autistic spectrum or with other social communication difficulties (with or without a diagnosis).
