Provision of Llandovery Theatre and its facilities for all. Llandovery Theatre Company write and direct the plays, pantomimes, literacy and drama workshops for and with the community, youth actors and young people with learning disabilities. We aim to support talent, develop skills, build self confidence and to foster a life long interest in attending theatre performances and acting on stage.

We support a Centre that coaches young people with Learning Difficulties

The charity works to promote autism awareness for public benefit. The charity advocates for individuals and families excluded from society due to stigma and aims to create inclusive environments within the community. We offer: support to families limited by barriers in society; and awareness campaigns for schools, businesses and the public to encourage social inclusion of people with disability.

We provide support for individuals, siblings and families managing autism and related conditions. Our activities include free playgroups for children and young people with autism and other special needs, siblings and their families. We also provide guidance on available services and support systems, and signpost to other services providers who may be helpful in meeting need.

Autism Support and Advice (ASA) provides weekly support groups for individuals with high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome. The charity also provides a monthly support group for family members of an individual who has autism. ASA provides outreach on a one to one level and also consultancy for families.ASA raises awareness of autism in the local community through training and events.

Autism Rocks is engaged in the promotion and research of autism specific conditions. The objective is to enhance awareness and expertise that will identify who will develop autism as early as possible and evaluate specific support services which will help them for the rest of their lives.

The raising of money for local & rotary international charities (such as Polio Plus and disaster aid); the funding of courses to help young people to raise aspirations or aquire leadership skills and support the local learning disability community as well as schools and community projects in Nepal.

We are an independent charity based at the Equine Centre at Pencoed College. Our principal aim is to provide horse riding and horse related activities to children and adults in our local community who have physical and learning disabilities. All our riding sessions are held indoors under the supervision of highly trained RDA Coaches who are supported by a team of trained volunteers.

The object of the charity is to provide leisure activities for people with learning disabilities from Aylesbury and the surrounding area, including regular social evenings, theme park and theatre outings, as well as special evenings of entertainment.

We assist people with learning disabilities who access the Middlesbrough Community Inclusion Service (MCIS). We help to provide opportunities for the individual using a person centred approach to maximise their independence. Yorkshire Wolds RDA takes approx 16 children from the Kings Mill School in Driffield every Monday for a 2 1/2 hour riding session, at Chesney Riding Stables in Driffield. We have now 20 regular volunteers. All our children have learning disability. some very severe.

The Kettering Mencap Gateway Club operates on Wednesday evenings from 7 until 9pm at The Crescents Community Centre in Kettering. The social evening for adults over 18 years with a Learning Disability has a programme of events including Bingo, Discos, Bowling and Games. Refreshments are also included.

Fundraising arm for Villa Real School a purpose built mixed day special school for children & young people aged 2-19 years with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. Many of them have associated physical and sensory difficulties and challenging behaviours.

Provide sports activities for children and young adults who have a learning difficulty. The main sports offered are:- football, Indoor bowls, crown green bowling, swimming, boccia, indoor bowls, Kurling, indoor potted sports.

CADOWS is a day centre for adults with learning difficulties or mental health issues.The Clients at CADOWS have the use of 10 computers with access to the internet. Clients as well as interacting with others are involved in various craft based tasks such as making festive cards, producing stencils and templates.Clients are taken on trips during the year to give them a better quality of life.
