The charity exists to help people with learning difficulty and their families the aims of the Royal Society for Mentally Handicapped Children and Adults now referred to as Mencap ,are our base. Our main activity is providing a Gateway Club which gives social contact to disadvantaged people. Ages from 25-70.

The Kent Disability Support Foundation aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health issues and learning difficulties. To create more cohesive communities within Kent by raising awareness and acceptance. To reduce social isolation, increase life opportunities and offer recovery and support services to people with learning difficulties and mental health issues.

THE THORNDENE SOCIETY PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND OTHER SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES IN ORDER TO ENRICH THEIR LIVES. IT ALSO ASSISTS OTHER ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE THE SAME, OR SIMILAR, AIMS.

To empower, promote and protect the rights of children and young people with learning disability and their carers through:- the provision of arts, culture, recreational and leisure time activities- the provision of support activities and training which develop their skills- the relief of unemployment- the development of relationship and emotional skills- the provision of respite care

We hold a weekly evening social club for people with learning difficulties. We arrange outings and activities throughout the year for our members to enhance their social lives and experiences.

Friends of Ysgol Bryn Castell aim to advance the education of the pupils at YBC by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the LEA) for education.Ysgol Bryn Castell is a 7-19 Special School for children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, including a specialist provision for children with Autism at the school.

Riding sessions provided to children from Forest Bridge School for children with autism in Maidenhead as part of the school curriculum. Private sessions commenced in May18 for small group of children from the Forest Bridge School groups.TEMPORARILY ON HOLD SINCE LOCKDOWN 1 IN MARCH 2020

Camberley Mencap provides help and advice to people with a learning disability and their families/carers who have close associations with the district. The society organises social events including outings and a weekly youth club. Financial help is also given towards otherwise unfunded living expenses, holidays etc.

To support teachers and children at Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn, a special needs school serving autistic spectrum children in North Wales.

Teaching & developing of aquatic skills from beginners through to competitive swimmers for those with physical , sensory and or learning disabilities by volunteer Level 2 qualified teachers in a sheltered environment.Encouraging social interaction with others wanting to be as safe in water as possible, and have fun.

To advance the education of and to relieve persons with slight to moderate learning disabilities aged 18 and over and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupation.

Asperger's Syndrome Association is aiming to set up support services for parents/guardians of children who suffer from Asperger's Syndrome or Autism, we aim to have these services set up and running by December 2017.

Our charity runs a club for adults over 18 years with learning disabilities. We meet on the second Monday of the month in a church hall in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan. We are a social club and our activities include arts and crafts, singing, keep-fit, visits to local places of interest.

Fully inclusive disability athletics club. Clubmark registered & affiliated to the UKA, the club offers training twice a week in Ipswich for track, field & wheelchair athletes who compete at county, regional & national level. Many athletes are part of the Special Olympics program. For 8 yrs & up .Includes young people & adults with learning disabilities, physical and sensory disabilities.

The project facilitates a range of courses and social enterprise initiatives for adults with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire. by addressing the learning and social needs through project based courses in Arts, Crafts, Sport, Cooking, Drama and Horticulture. Activities are practical and physical, providing healthy exercise and there is a strong emphasis on good nutrition and healthy eating

We raise funds in the UK and seek time from relevant professionals (ideally on voluntary bases) to provide financial support (grants) and technical support (expertise, learning, plans) to the local charities/organizations based in Pakistan, who are engaged with kids and adults on ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ADHD.

To provide the facility of horseriding for disabled persons and for those with learning difficulties.

We are a social club where members with special needs and learning difficulties can relax, chill out and learn some social skills. Volunteers interact with members and they also help to raise funds for outings during the summer and for the annual visit to the pantomime at Christmas. We try to bring a wide range of entertainment to the club from Morris Dancers to making bird feeders.

Croydon Contacts is a small charity supporting adults with learning disabilities in Croydon to enjoy social activities in their local community. We run various events for members, staffed by volunteers & trustees, supported by carers & families. Events include Board Games; Bowling, Cinema & Lunch clubs; Summer day trips to local museums & parks; visiting local pantomimes & shows.

Friends of Linden Bridge provide fund raising support for Linden Bridge School. Linden Bridge is an Autistic Spectrum specialist school.
