The object of the Fund is to relieve poverty amongst persons of European birth who are or have been members of the planting community of Sri Lanka and their dependant relatives in need, restricted to the wives, widows and dependant children of such persons.

The objects of the charity are for the benefit of the public in supporting the life and ministry of clergy and other ministers serving in the Archdeaconry of Oxford in the Diocese of Oxford, who are in any kind of need, whether financial, medical, educational or recreational, and providing similar support to the widowed spouses or other dependent of such clergy or ministers.

Initially, Mount Zion is a church based in Wigan and Zimbabwe. The congregation do assist those who seem to be in need of support, such as failed asylum seeker. In Zimbabwe we mainly focus on children who are suffering from various types of learning difficulties, such as fatal anti-convulsing syndrome, autism and many more, also we consider orphans. Donations only come from our church members.

We aim to help the members of our order, as well as widows and children of deceased members. We also make grants to various charities around Derby.

To provide pensions for men, unmarried women and widows aged 50 or over who are members of the established Church of England, in reduced, needy or poor circumstances. Applicants must reside in England or Wales. The numbers of men and women pensioners must be as equal in numbers as possible.

We work through grass-roots African organisations with a Christian ethos engaged in caring for orphans. Our approach focuses on building the capacity of our partners, by providing financial resources and expertise, and helping them to develop into self-sustaining organisations that have a real impact on the lives of orphaned and abandoned children in their communities.

A grass-roots charity designed to bring hope to AIDS orphans, vulnerable children and their community in the Chilubula area of Northern Zambia. Grants have been provided to build infrastructure (classroom block, kitchen, toilet blocks, borehole) and continue to be given for education and food for the children and employment opportunities for adults.

Newham Welfare Trust provides support for children and elderly persons with disabilities, disadvantaged women, widows, orphans and homeless persons. It provides educational activities and training in sports, Arts, Science and Healthcare to advance knowledge and skills of young persons and disadvantaged youths in deprived areas. Newham Welfare Trust also provides emergency aid in UK and overseas.

We meet for religious prayers,counsel the deprived and visit hospitals for special prayers for the sick.We also support the deprived in Ghana by sending used clothes and money to them. We have included sponsoring few children to school and donating regularly to widows in the Southern part of Ghana. We have also increased daily visitation to hospitals and also donate few materials to them

Giving grants to poor people, widows and orphans for education, clean water, medical treatment.

The charity assists orphaned and disadvantaged young people by paying their school fees, buying uniforms and stationery. We organise;- annual fundraising dinner dances held in Sheffield, UK- annual field trips to visit the beneficiariesAs a member of Sheffield City Council's Equalities Forum, we influence policy and contribute in local decision making.

Relieve the suffering and distress of hedgehogs in need of care by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs with the aim of releasing hedgehogs back into the wild wherever possible and to also provide a safe refuge for non native hedgehog species.Educate the public by promoting awareness of the problems hedgehogs encounter and their future survival.
