Grants to widows of clergymen

Contributions are made to both:-+ Masonic Charity: to provide assistance when needed to brethren in distress, and to their wives/widows and families; and + Non-Masonic Charity: to make donations to a range of charities both in the UK and also overseas to benefit society in general

International Relief Foundation is a registered charitable organisation established in 2011. The IRF provides humanitarian relief by responding to emergencies and empowering societies through education and training, caring for orphans and children in need, providing access to healthcare and water, promoting sustainable economic and social development and advocating on humanitarian issues.

Originally trust was for widows and orphans of the parish of Lanlivery. Now, mostly, to widows/widowers or local to the parish organisations.

Contributes from investment income towards the fuel bills of poor widows and other deserving poor of the parish.

To relieve necessitous members,widows,orphans or dependants of deceased members, who are in necessitous circumstances. In Chippenham and District, Wiltshire.

To relieve the needs and advance education and promote good health among the poor, destitute or orphaned children of Kinkiizi Anglican Diocese, Uganda, through the provision of School Fees, costs of Vocational Training, University Fees and any other type of Educational Fees

To assist members and widows. And other worthy causes.

The relief of poor and distressed masons or their widows and children or for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objects as the lodge shall direct.

iNCOME PAID TO ELDERLY FREEMEN AND WIDOWS ANNUALLY AS AN ANNUITY

The Precious Foundation was established on May 2010 with the objective to provide relief through the provision of funds, goods and services for orphans around the world. Main objectives of the organization are, develop existing orphanages, build new orphanages, create education opportunities and improve health in communities.

MEF sponsors orphan and vulnerable children (OVC) and helps improve their school infrastructure and facilities. Longer term aim is to support post-secondary vocational education. We will use this model for other schools. In collaboration with the schools' own self help committee we aim to avoid promoting a dependency culture. MEF provides discretionary support for local Education related projects.

To or for the relief of such poor and distressed Knights Templar of The United Religious and Military Orders of The Temple or their poor and distressed widows and children or to or for the benefit of such Charities or other Charitable Institutions and Societies as the Provincial Priory shall direct.

TO OR FOR THE RELIEF OF SUCH POOR AND DISTRESSED BROTHER MASONS OR THEIR POOR AND DISTRESSED WIDOWS AND CHILDREN OR TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH MASONIC CHARITIES OR OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS SOCIETIES AND OBJECTS AS THE LODGE SHALL IN DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT

Relief of Poverty

To apply both the capital and income to or for the relief of such poor and distressed Brother Masons, or their poor and distressed widows and children, and subject to a minimum of -ú500 being available for the above purpose, alternatively to or for the benefit of such Masonic Charities, or other Charitable Institutions, Societies and objects as the Lodge shall in duly constituted meeting from time

Makes small grants to persons in need within the Parish of Weston Turville in the form of locally-redeemable foodstuffs vouchers. Also makes small grants to individuals or local organisations within the Parish to aid those who are sick or in medical need in the Parish.

Church Based Charity

WPD holds regular meetings on widowhood issues at the UN Commission on the Status of Women. As the umbrella organisation for widows NGOs in conflict afflicted countries, it gathers data on the plight of widows; acts as the international focal point for regional widows' groups such as SANWED, and raises awareness on this topic with UK/EU and the UN. It also works with CEDAW.

AI Trust intends to carry out General Charitable Projects ofEducation/vocational training, Advancement of Health or Saving Lives, Prevention or Relief of Poverty in UK and to help the poor people of Bangladesh.Who the charity will help:Children/young People, elderly, Widows orphans and general public/needy mankind.

THE RELIEF OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF BILLING WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO POOR WIDOWS OVER 60. NORMALLY A SMALL GRANT IS MADE EACH YEAR IN DECEMBER TO QUALIFYING PERSONS.

Makes pensions to distressed widows living in the village from the investment income received.

For the benefit of distressed members of the guild their widows children or relatives or for the benefit of charities or other charitable institutions, societies or objects including educational projects undertaken by the younger members of the guild.
