Community run pre-school

Providing early years education.

The objects of the Pre-school are to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.

Haddenham Puddleducks pre-school provides childcare for children from the age of 2 until they go to school. Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment; to help improve their social skills and develop their potential; and prepare them for school life.

Our ambition is to persuade people of the huge benefits of following Jesus Christ. We are the church for those who don't go to church: we visit the homes in our neighbourhood week, a street a week, offering friendship. We also offer language class, mums and toddler group and youth group. Our core members also meet to hear the Bible read and explained, and to pray.

Pre school playgroup for 2- 5 years. We provide sessional care during term time.

Charity events, many sports eg Sports Club, Cycle Speedway, Youth & Adult football,Country & Western functions, Baby Sensory and Parent & Toddler sessions, Numerous activities which the Hall is hired for include a regular Kick Boxing club, a regular Short Tennis club, Bird Shows, Motorbike and vehicle jumble sales . Open Functions i.e wedding receptions, parties, quiz nights etc.

We are a small and friendly, parent committee run pre-school setting, in the village of Barrowby on the outskirts of Grantham. We provide care and education for children aged 2, 3, and 4. Our sessions run 9am to 3pm during term time. We offer children the opportunity to learn through play in a graduate led, stimulating and nurturing environment, recognising that each child is unique.

To advance the education of children below compulsory school age by providing safe and satisfying group play and encouraging other charitable activities through which parents/carers may help.

The main activities the Charity carries out are the following:Offering appropriate play facilities and training courses, together with allowing parents the right to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the Playgroup, ensuring that opportunities are offered to all children regardless of race, culture, religion, disability or means.

We encourage children to achieve their full potential physically, emotionally and intellectually, irrespective of their sex, race, ability, religious and social background. We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can develop as active learners so that they may start primary school as happy, considerate and enquiring pupils. Parental input to childrens education is encouraged.

Uplyme Pre-school is a community based group that provides day care and pre-school education for children aged two to five, term time only. We are a registered charity, managed by a parent committee and governed by Ofsted.
