TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN PRIMARILY UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH COMMUNITY GROUPS AND BY OFFERING APPROPRIATE PLAY AND STUDY FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN REGARDLESS OF RACE, CULTURE, RELIGION OR MEANS. WE ADHERE TO AND FURTHER THE AIMS OF THE PRE-SCHOOL LEARNING ALLIANCE

The charity has provided and delivered treasure boxes to young children diagnosed with a brain tumour in the UK. Support has been offered and provided to the families of these children in the form of grants and family holiday accommodation. In the process of fundraising the charity has created awareness into childhood brain tumours and the effects on the child and their families.

The Mary Wood Trust strives to advance education and relieve poverty by providing sponsorship, training funds and items for disadvantaged children, young people (especially girls and young women), and those in need in S W Uganda.It also helps to develop facilities in Kanungu District, and in particular at Ruth Memorial Nursery School and Nyakabungo Girls' Secondary School.

Early Years Education

The sponsorship of 31 children and young adults through education age from 9 to 24 years. It includes 3 in 6th form and 14 in higher education. Provision of 6 breakfast clubs in 6 schools feeding just under 900 pupils every school day. Enhancing and improving facilities in the 6 schools through purchase of computers, installing solar panels, set up science labs and also replacing school furniture.

The PCC is responsible for offering pastoral care for the parish of Martock as a whole and the church's membership (112 in 2016). In particular, the church works in partnership with the local Primary school, Parish Council and other faith communities in the area. In addition to regular Sunday services, there is a weekly baby and toddler group (term-time only).

Almondbury Playgroup caters for children aged 2 -4 years.

The Charity provides both religious and secular support for the local community.Religious support takes the form of regular weekly services as well as weddings and funerals and seasonal activities as the occasion arises. Secular activities include provision of facilities for Parents and toddlers, local youth, and ministry to local homes for the elderly. Facilities are provided for community use

Pre-school for children aged from 2.5 upwards.

Garnant Family Centre offers informal family support to families with young children in the area. It is delivered through informal sessions aimed at parents with babies and toddlers, activities for children up to the age of 11 years, outdoor sessions, more structured courses, training and workshops, parenting and family support as well as special events and trips.

Loxwood preschool provide sessional day care for preschool children aged from 2 up to school age. We operate in the village of Loxwood, West Sussex.

Explorers Pre-school is situated in the grounds of St Nicholas Church of England Primary School, Henstridge, Somerset. The pre-school is open from 8.45am-3.15 pm Mondays to Fridays (term-time only). Explorers is registered on the Early Years and the compulsory and voluntary Childcare registers to care for 16 children (max) aged two years 6 months to five years old.

The focus of our activities is to advance the development and education of young children up to school age, in Brassington, Derbyshire and the surrounding area. Trained and qualified early years practitioners support the children in achieving the early learning goals for each of the 7 areas of learning and development within the EYFS, through a variety of fun and engaging skills and activities

Education and care for for pre-school children

PRESCHOOL FOR 2.5-4 YEAR OLDS

St Michael's is a small pre-school, offering sessional childcare places to children aged between two and five years old. It is open five days a week, from 9.15am to 12.15pm, during school term times. St Michael's is a committee-run pre-school, which has adopted and is working to, the Pre-school Learning Alliance constitution. The setting is registered with Ofsted, under reference 127613.

Pre-school education for children from 2 years to school age

Provision of regular acts of Worship open to members and non-members alike. A sacred place is provided for prayer and contemplation. Teaching of Christianity, pastoral work, and promoting the whole mission of the church through activities for older people, young people, parents and toddlers and other specific need groups. Support other charities in the UK and overseas, financially and with prayer.

Committee run pre-school for 5's and under.

Sunday worship services/Prayer and Bible study meeting/Children and youth clubs/annual children's Holiday Club/parents and toddler meeting/older people's meeting/financial support of missionary work/monthly services in a local care home/special meetings for the community. These activities are all without charge to the community. Full time Pastor and part time Chidrens Worker employed.

The charity is set up for education and training.It helps children and young people.It provides services of care.

We provide a Food Bank, Welfare Rights, Citizens Advice, and Job Search.Courses to help people to gain access to work. Section activities,Spiritualists, Drama, Dancing for adults/youth, Gentle Exercise, Toddler Group, Beading Class Tae kwondo, Zumba Classes, Gym and a Junior/senior Theatre Group. Room hire is also available to external groups. We also have a variety of fitness classes

Promoting the whole work of the Church: regular public worship; pastoral care & visiting the sick and bereaved; teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses, small groups & religious assemblies in schools; activities for senior citizens, parents & toddlers and others; supporting other charities in the UK and overseas, St. Margaret's CE Primary School & associated Scout and Guide Groups.

Churchstoke Little Explorers is a Pre School Playgroup. We run five days a week and also run a weekly Parent and Toddler group and an After School Club.

We are a happy pre-School for children 24 months upwards. We prepare children for the Reception Class of our main school and other schools.
