Richmond Park Church has been called to be a church in the community and our activities include a parent and toddler group, working with Teen Challenge (help for life controlling addictions), and an evening for international students. Our main Sunday service is at 10.30 am. Our worship time is contemporary, and sometimes includes dance or drama.

Our objects are TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF CHILDREN IN ZAMBIA WHO ARE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED.We currently support around 1,000 vulnerable children and young adults in Kabwe, Zambia. Our programmes cover a school with pupils from Pre-School to Grade 9, a Vocational Skills Centre and Feeding.

Public worship, local mission ans social action, parent and toddler group, ESOL class for women, community activities and trips, free community film nights. Youth work, community youth clubs, youth training and youth residential weekends. Childrens work - weekly childrens club, Church fellowship activities. Fabric repair and maintenance.

Our main gatherings are the Sunday services and Wednesday evening prayer/bible-study meetings. We provide a weekly toddler group for pre-school children, weekly youth club for older children, and children?s clubs in some school holidays. We regularly offer courses such as Christianity Explored or Discipleship Explored that clearly explain the foundations of Christian belief and practice.

Pre school playgroup

We provide childcare for children age 1-5 years old, via government or private funding.

We are a pre school with a trained and highly dedicated staff, teaching in a room within the local primary school. Managed by a voluntary parent-run committee, we aim to provide a safe, happy, caring environment where children develop and thrive and can approach the start of school with confidence and excitement.

Pre-School

We are a Welsh-medium early year education setting based within the village's primary school. We offer early years education for children aged 3-5 years. Our aim is to teach, encourage and enhance childrens experiences through a variety of mediums; play, literature, creativity, mathematics, sensory and physical activities.

To provide transport facilities in the Furness peninsula and South Lakes areas for people who have special needs of such facilities because they are elderly, poor or disabled, people with young children, or living (or staying) in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities.

Whitehill Village Hall is held on trust for the use of the community of Whitehill for meetings and lectures and for other forms of recreation. Its purpose is to improve the condition of life for all members of the local community, without distinction of political, religious or ethnic groounds.Groups from toddlers to the oldest regularly use the hall.

current activities at the community centre are:- Playgroup & Out of School Club, Whist Club, Drama Club, Tae Kwondo, Football Clubs and Rugby Clubs. Local Meetings & general adult classes in Art etc.

We offer childcare for parents, grandparents and carers across Wrexham we are based in Wrexham District Scout Headquarters, Station Approach, Wrexham LL11 2AA. We offer Early Entitlement, elements of the 30 hours free childcare and play opportunities to enhance the learning of children in a safe, welcoming, warm, friendly environment. We operate Mon - Thur 09.00 - 15.00 term time only

Platgroup-look after young children

Lostwithiel Preschool, Baby & Toddler Group is run by a managment committee of parents and affiliates in Lostwithiel. The aim of the preschool is to enhance the development and education of children under school age in a community group setting.We hold a Baby and Toddler group once a week at which we welcome parents and their children to enjoy a range of activities and meet similar aged children.

VILLAGE PRE-SCHOOL, PROVIDING PRE-SCHOOL CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 - 4.THIS SETTING IS BASED IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM OF THE SCHOOL AND OFFERS ACTIVITIES BASED AROUND THE EYFS STATUTORY GUIDANCE, INCLUDING PERSONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS, PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT, LANGUAGE, BOOKS, PUZZLES,CONSTRUCTION AND NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES BASED AROUND AREAS OF LEARNING.

We aim to provide a happy stimulating and safe environment in which all children can learn through play with adult support and encouragement. Our activities in relation to these objectives are learning through play, eg. painting, Lego and outdoor play, group stories and songs and discussion times.
