The Sway Youth Centre is provided for a pre school nursery, brownies and guides, pathfinders- church youth people group, a drop in centre for after school groups, Self defense group for young people. The centre is available for hire by young families for parties or special events.

Riverside Community Centre hosts various user groups, including Parkstone Kids Club - childcare before & after school, Parkstone Pre-school - pre-school childcare. Cylch Meithrin Dolwerdd is a Welsh medium playgroup (Cylch Meithrin) that runs sessional and full day care for children aged 2-4 years, serving St Dials and surrounding areas in Cwmbran. The setting uses a purpose built room for childcare, where areas are set out daily that reflect the aims and principles of the Foundation Phase to support and encourage the children's learning and development.

The Friends of St James Mission & School, Zimbabwe (FSJMS) funds a pre school teacher salary and bursaries for able girls from the primary into the boarding school 80 km northwest of Bulawayo. We also provide school lunch for 220 Preschool/Primary pupils who live in & around St James mission between Nymandhlovu & Tsholotsho. The trustees and some committee members were teachers at the school.

Ukuthasa aims to empower disadvantaged communities in Africa by working in partnership with Non Government Organisations (NGOs) in the following areas: HIV/Aids education, training and counselling; providing pre-school and early education; providing mentorship and life-skills training to young people through sport.

The charity operates a village hall in Bishampton. The facilities include a large hall area, stage with lighting, kitchen, bar, two meeting rooms, projection room and toilet facilities. Outside there is a new toddlers play area and a separate teens play area both with modern equipment. There is ample car parking.

Westwood Montessori Pre-School Limited is an independent pre-school for boys and girls aged 0 to 5. The Objects of the School are to enhance the development and education of children, primarily under statutory school age, and to encourage parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.
