Music and movement for pre-school children

We, the Friends of Sketchley Hill Menphys Nursery school are a group of friends, parents and staff who raise money to benefit the children and families at Nursery.We organised fun, fundraising events and recieve many donations. We fund equipment from large projects to small toys, trips and family events to enhance the learning experience for the children.

To advance the education of the pupils of Newtown School (hereinafter called 'The School') by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Education Authority.

TO OFFER SCOUTING ACTIVITIES TO CHILDREN FROM AGE 4 UP TO 14 YEARS

Early years parent led steiner groups run in Bath. Providing play opportunities for pre-school children and their families.

We hold two religious services each Sunday, to which all are welcome, any age, disabled. We run a weekly mother and toddler group. We hold a fortnightly midweek act of worship and a fortnightly 'home produce' sale with refreshments - both these events for any age and any ethnic group. Coffee mornings are held on a Saturday. All the above are advertised on the church noticeboard.

Anstey Town Charity exists to help Anstey based groups and sometimes individuals - often 6th form students. Applicants and grantees include children/youth groups, sports teams, voluntary groups, churches/chapels, playgroups, drama society and the village gala. We advertise for applicants by 31/1 and meet in March to allocate grants shortly afterwards.

Provides community activities ie domino drives, fund raising events. A building for the use of local history groups, art groups and activities for young children.

Provides a small hall available to local groups for hire on a casual or regular basis. Suitable for meetings, keep fit groups, adult education classes, young children's parties.

To honour the life and legacy of Martin Schellenberg (1959-2021) we provide support to young musicians (up to the age of 24 years) in the West Midlands & South West of England; particularly those with a talent in voice, piano and/or organ; who make classical, operatic or jazz music. Support may take the form of a financial grant or non-financial support e.g. professional advice/mentoring.

The charity is currently involved in a project to build a small nursery school in Busumbala Village in The Gambia, West Africa. Funds are being raised through projects at schools/colleges where the trustees are employed and also through projects organised by local volunteers. The charity fund provides additional activites for children and families beyond the remit of the Local Authority and which children and families may not otherwise be able to access, such as; visiting farm animals, parenting workshops, healthy living advice, cookery sessions for adults and children, gardening sessions with the opportunity to grow your own food and expeditions to local attractions.

Our Charity provides extra resources and equipment to enrich the lives of the children and staff of Tortworth Primary School. These fundraising activities also has a knock on benefit to the local nursery and also other users of the school and its resources.We fund raise by having Christmas Fair's, Summer Fair's, Cake Sale's, Disco's and Charity Auction's to name a few.

A toddler group for parents and carers of children 0-5 years of age

We host recreational activities at an affordable cost allowing a deprived area to have access to low cost recreational, educational, healthy and inclusive activities. We provide a venue for low cost private hire for parties, community groups such as W.R.V.S, keep fit, toddler groups, bowls, friendship clubs and dance groups etc.

1) To develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with Watton Westfield Infant & Nursery and Watton Junior Schools.2) Engaging in fundraising activities or providing facilities or equipment which support both Watton Westfield Infant & Nursery and Watton Junior Schools and advance the education of all pupils across both schools equally.

Parent and toddler group for children aged 0 months to school age and their carers. Special baby area provided as well as activities for older children. Snacks and tea and coffee provided mid morning and included in entrance fee.Activities are wide ranging and include cutting, painting, colouring, puzzles, ball pool, home corner, dressing up, bikes, reading corner and many more.

To provide venue for village activities e.g. playgroup, good companion club, youth club, venue for quiz's, coffee mornings etc for other fund raising committees also venue for elections, parties & dances.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RHYMETIME FOR TODDLERS AND PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN, A LOCAL SEWING GROUP, 3 LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS ATTENDING EVERY MONDAY WE SELL BOOKS,AND CARDS, TEA AND COFFEE PHOTOCOPYING,LAMINATING WE HAVE SIGNED UP OVER 900 MEMBERS WITH LIBRARY CARDS EXCLUSIVE TO THIS LIBRARY.RAISED MONEY FROM OUR HOT DRINKS,USED BOOK SALES WE RECEIVED COMMUNITY FUNDING FROM GATESHEAD COUNCIL.
