Barkham Bears Club is a playgroup for children in the Barkham area of Wokingham.

We are a village run baby and toddler group, catering for 0-4 year olds.We run in term time, every Wednesday morning from 9.30am-11.30am.Our activities include craft table - themed each week, role play, home corner, sing-a-long music time, dressing up, small world, baby area for pre-walkers and soft play area.

We are an organization giving grants to students, aged between 16-24 years, that live in the Slaithwaite area to provide support with their studies.

Bliss Gate Village Field is a 5 acre site located next to the village of Bliss Gate. There is a play area suitable for young children and an area of orchard / woodland as well as open space for walking etc.The field is open to all local residents in the area and can be used for a variety of activities including "fun days", car boot sales and informal games of football and cricket.

We run events to raise money to maintain the Church and encourage all sections of Bladon to join in the activities of the Church. We have held talks, had receptions for newcomers when they are introduced to the various societies in the village. We also run a toddlers group weekly in conjunction with some Church members to introduce the young to Church

To advance the education and learning of pupils in the school and pre-school children in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents, others associated with the school as well as the wider community. To raise money and run engaging activities to help to provide facilities or resources that support the school and pre-school children.

Fundraising events such as children parties, bake sales, jumble sales, quiz nights in the Walberton community to support the Walberton pre-school.

Building is for general use of village for meetings, jumble sales for charitable causes, play groups and music practice. Hired for childrens parties, educational lectures, polling station and local groups.

Daily,Mon and Tues- 9.30am-11.30am- drop-in play and craft sessions for babies to pre-school age children accompanied by their parents/carers.Held in Meersbrook Park Pavilion, Meersbrook Park Road, S8. Indoor and outdoor areas. Snacks & drinks served for children, hot drinks available for adults.

RUNNING TODDLER GROUP FOR CHILDREN FROM 12 MONTHS TO FIVE AND THEIR PARENTS/CARERS

Food Bank, Education and Training (e.g. numeracy and literacy classes), Training for Life Programmes including understanding Universal Credits and Budgeting, CV writing and basic IT skills, Holiday Clubs, Sports and Recreational activities for the Youth, Supporting the Elderly (Befriending Scheme), Health and Wellbeing Programmes, Nursery Play Groups and Mum and Toddler Groups.

Under 5's Playgroup

Provides a safe place for children to play and enables those caring for pre-school children whether they are mothers, fathers, other relations, childminders, nannys or au pairs to meet other carers over tea and coffee whilst the children play. Toys and activities are provided and there are occasional social activities.
