THE PROVISION OF A YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR USE BY THE CHARITY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, EDUCATION (E.G. PRE-SCHOOL DAY-CARE AND U3A), MUSIC, SPORTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR THE LOCAL POPULATION OF GREAT BOOKHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. BYCA WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER CHARITIES, ORGANISATIONS AND SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SERVICE.

One of the smaller charities of our ancient parish of South Stoke Cum Woodcote. There is only sufficient cash to warrant making grants approx. every 3 or 4 years. We hope to make awards to some 25 parishoners this year, who are deemed the poorer and needier of our community (the cash of the 4 charities are lumped together).

Loans out educational toys and books to parents and children under five who otherwise would not have access to this equipment, in order to encourage and support young children's learning through play.

Provision of biblical books for infants and young children

Drop in Parent and Toddler Group providing a wide range of activities for parents and their children to participate in. Activities cover all of the necessary learning outcomes to assist childrens education. Provide support and networking opportunities for parents in the local area. With ongoing input and support from other local organisations such as Health Visitors, Surestart, Local Preschools.

To provide a nursery school, nursery education, school equipment and food for some of the most disadvantaged children in one of Nairobi's slums. The project aims to be self-sustaining and in time aims to invest in income-generating projects that will cover the running costs of the school. Funds and income permitting, the school will expand to include adult education and workshops.

The Charity relates to a peppercorn rent attached to some older properties in the parish and dates back several hundred years hence the small amounts involved. The money collected is distributed between the Vicar of Ipstones; the School Trustees and the pensioners of the parish. Because of the small amounts involved the money collected is distributed every 3 or 4 years.

Cylch Meithrin Llangoed provides preschool education and care to children aged 2-4 years old through the medium of Welsh. To promote children's physical, creative, personal and social skills as well as developing their numeracy and linguistic skills all through the Foundation Phase methods

Porthleven under fives playgroup is a voluntary organisation, run by parents for children. It seeks to support children to learn in different interactive play. This is accomplished through playing with a variety of toys, undertaking art/craft/cooking activities, singing together & listening to stories as a group.

Target newsletter aims are: "To promote the care and upbringing of young children in Hall Green and the surrounding areas of Birmingham for the public benefit by the provision of a regular local publication and by holding events to enable parents, carers and children to develop and gain new skills.

To assist the families of serving and veteran Royal Marines when the need arises. Our children's nursery project, The Brambles, is the main focus of our fundraising at present and will offer places to the children of serving Royal Marines as well as the wider community.

Income is only sufficient to make awards every 3 or 4 years, when it is amalgamated with income from the other small charities of our ancient parish of South Stoke Cum Woodcote. We hope to make awards this year.

Fundraising activities and voluntary contributions to supplement school resources and curriculum

Supply accomodation for youth club and mothers & toddlers.

To enhance the development of children under statutory school age within the Longthorpe area and surrounding communities.The charity has been setup to incorporate Longthorpe Playgroup Charity number 1031164.

The relief of expectant and nursing mothers resident in the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness who are in conditions of need, hardship, or distress. Any income not required for this purpose may be applied in relieving, in cases of need, pre-school age children who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Eccleston Old People's Welfare Committee provides human resources and buildings facilities for a wide range of community activities including old people's bingo (Monday and Thursday), Gardening Club, Lectures and Classes, Learning, pre-school group, Bridge Clubs, Weight Watchers, Board Gamers, Farmers' Wives, baby massage/bonding, French for toddlers & hires out the hall on a one-off basis

The Slade Evangelical Church seeks to provide Biblical Christian teaching and ministry through Sunday services and midweek groups. It also seeks to reach out to and provide services to the surrounding area throughout the week through, for example, youth groups, meetings for elderly people, a toddlers and carers group, meals for the homeless and English classes for speakers of other languages.

we run a community centre. within the centre we run a playgroup, We also now accomodate a children's centre. We hire rooms out to several groups which include diet and exercse, parent and toddler group, baby clinic,dancing classes, friendship group, widow group, chiropody and so on. We are sympathetic to charitable organisations wanting to use our centre.
