The Forum (HaRF) is constituted to pursue and support BAMER with the following activities:a) The promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of charities b) Assisting in building the capacity of the third sector organisations c) The provision of advice & advocacy on immigration, social & welfare rights, health, housing, community integration, education, training and employment

We help refugees and asylum seekers access all they are entitled to, providing advocacy case work, health and well being support & advice to help them with integration and settlement. We run 2 weekly drop-ins where people can meet others in a safe space, relax, and access help, as well as offering English classes and social events. We help raise awareness in the local community of refugees.

Help, advocacy and social events for people of all ages with physical or mental impairment, includes weekly club meetings, holidays, day trips etc.

The charity raises money to support the activities of Citizens Advice Thame.

The Charity acts as a Post-Polio Information Service for Polio Survivors and Medical/Allied Health Professionals; promotes the provision of holistic care and treatment options for polio survivors; provides support and information and thereby empowers polio survivors and their carers/families; promotes awareness of the late effects of polio, or post polio syndrome (PPS).

Stroke Club UK is a support group run by stroke survivors, for stroke survivors, who are young at heart and want to move on with their lives. We are dedicated to getting stroke victims, active and back into the community by using peer support from people who understand because they've been there. 'Empathy' not 'tea and sympathy'. We do not offer medical, legal or financial advice.

Our group provides advice, information and advocacy on access to health and education services, relieve poverty hardship, distress of black African refugees and asylum seekers living in the UK. We offer free interpreting and translation services and cultural activities for French speaking communities in Lambeth. We also run children and young people's services.

Stand Support UK is a specialist charity in Coventry supporting anyone experiencing or affected by domestic abuse or sexual violence. Our services include referral to refuge accommodation, community-based support, peer mentoring, group work and access to a free confidential out of hours helpline. Our accredited specialist workers (ISVA & IDVA) support people through the criminal justice system.

We help with funding staff training - run news letter and a help line for all clients on clinic list - supply members with medical alert cards buy equipment for clinic - run annual meetings for members and non members and help with publicity of sleep disorder.

The charity signposts parents of children with dyslexia and adults with dyslexia to tutors and assessments. We have a helpline, website and facebook page and will respond to queries from any age group. The charity gives out financial bursaries for assessments and tutoring to parents on low income, if there are sufficient funds in the charity.
