Activities include an active and wide ranging programme of events in the pursuit of scouting principles; a badge shop selling badges and associated items to scout groups; the maintenance and upkeep of Scammonden Activity Centre, which provides the opportunity for youth groups and commercial organisations to stay at the Centre; and a shop at the Activity Centre selling stationery and refreshments.

We support and fund the advancement of education and Christian missions in UK and overseas. We also identify, support, and provide local and national relief or donations for those in specific need or for public benefit. Funds are generated by the sale of secondhand goods through our shop. We offer training and support to our volunteers. The shop acts as a centre where people meet and make friends.

Rehoming dogs often from 'death row' that no other organisation will take & offering a private rehoming service to help prevent stray dogs. We have a large following of supporters within the community & on social media. We attend local fun days and fetes, organise various events and have a presence in local shops, in order to fundraise and spread our ideas for promoting responsible dog ownership.

We are very busy running our charity shop in Pontardawe SA8 4EB, constantly looking for donations of saleable goods, and available to study requests for help with cardiac related equipment.

The Friends aim is to support and supplement the services offered by Island-wide NHS services, through the funding of new equipment and facilities designed to enhance the wellbeing of NHS patients and staff across the Isle of Wight. We are funded by the running of our shop, by charity boxes around the Island and by many generous donations or by being kindly remembered in a Will.

Maintain the Charity's Aldershot premises to provide afordable accomodation for local charities and groups. Income is raised by the commercial letting of three shop units at street level.

C.A.N.E. run a community centre offering a wide range of activities for people to attend. It runs a coffee shop and organises events such as quizes, table top sales and an annual summer fete for people to enjoy.

The Shop recycles clothing and bric a brac donated by members of the community. Enables volunteers to gain skills and experience in handling stock control and cash accounting.

The Association seeks to provide and co-ordinate projects and activities to benefit the local Ward. Currently, it runs a small subsidised cafe, two charity shops and puts on activities such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Quizzes a Christmas Fayre where presents are donated to children and operates coach trips for children, pensioners and residents.

The Calne Link Scheme is a totally voluntary organisation that provides help in the form of care and transport for those in the local community who need it. People who through age or infirmity are unable to access hospitals, doctors surgeries or shops by their own means or by public transport are driven by the link scheme which also carries out shopping and provides companionship.
