Our mission is to engage, inform and connect via a series of lively events and workshops, swap shops and repair shops, talks and panels and much more, giving Islington residents the knowledge and skills they need to address the oncoming challenges presented by the climate and nature crises.We aim to help our community be more resilient to better mitigate and adapt to climate change

Community transport scheme - taking people to doctors, hospital, shopping & social clubs. Luncheon clubs for local socially isolated. Special needs club. Drop in coffee shop.

WORDWISE, a Christian resource centre, is run by 6 Trustees, and a number of volunteers. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10.0am to 4.00pm. Donations of time and money are given by local Christians. A small coffee shop provides a warm welcome and a listening ear. We continue to have a sense of our prominent Christian presence in the centre of Kingsbridge.

Running a shop to raise funds to help the aged, infirm, disabled & disadvantaged.

The Choir gives concerts both charitable and non-charitable for the benefit of local communities and also for communities further afield; this year we have given concerts for various charities including Yorkshire air ambulance,Prince of Wales Hospice(Pontefract), Knottingley company shop. We have also raised money by concerts and other means for the Alzheimer's Society.In 2024 Prostate Cancer.

We provide bus services which are designed to provide the maximum benefit to those in need of them.The main beneficiaries are people who would otherwise not be able to access shops, the doctors surgery etc. These individuals' quality of life are enhanced by the reduction in isolation, ability to access shops and services, and improved health monitoring.

Fund raising activities to raise funds for the school include, tuck shop, Book Club, Monthly Cake Raffle, refreshments at events, Mothers & Fathers day Gift Stalls, Christmas Gift Stalls, Quiz nights, Summer & Christmas fayre's, Christmas Raffle, Fashion show, village fun days, coffee mornings, end of term Disco's, Easter Craft Club, Bags 2 School Clothing collections.

Sunday School, Worship Service, Drama, Singing Group, Youth Activities, Bible classes, Funerals, Christening, Community Gospel Concert, Music School, Home visiting for the sick and lonely and work shop activities. { Easter Community Concert over 400 people in attendance, October Combination Singspiration with the Church of England. November Memorial service, Nativity Play by the Youths and BHMD.

The hall is used for various clubs and organisations within the Borough of Saltash to carry out their activities; ie Age Concern, Karate, Barber Shop Choirs,Community players,U3A, Keep Fit, Educational purposes, private use (parties), health and education, Concerts, shows, crafts

MAIN BRIEF IS FUND RAISING FOR THE HOSPITAL. PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR EQUIPMENT PURCHASES & STRUCTURAL IMPROVEMENTS AS REQUIRED. PATIENT SUPPORT SERVICE BY WAY OF RUNNING A TEA BAR FOR OUTPATIENTS : TROLLEY SHOP FOR DAY UNIT & WARDS:PLANS ARE IN PLACE TO REFURBISH THE DAY UNIT

Run a small shop - Christian, local and childrens books, cards, traidcraft goods, tea, coffee etc. A meeting place for people as well as a shop to buy from.

For the public benefit, the prevention or relief of food poverty of people living in Greater Manchester by establishing and growing a grocery business, providing surplus food from supermarkets to individuals, to relieve their needs and prevent hunger.

Running a school accumulator for the fourth year which included various schools around the country. Pupils were given a start-up kit to create a business to raise money which included holding events and challenges organised by the individual teams in the schools. The winning team was chosen by raising the most money. Holding a charity rugby match and rugby dinner to raise awareness of the

Running fundraising activities for children and their families such as bingo nights, summer fair, Christmas market and tuck shops. Funds raised go towards activities or equipment for the children at Clifton School to add to their learning experience and environment.

Fund raising consists of hospital retail shop. We run various raffles and receive funds from collection boxes placed in retail shops in the area. We also hold a Christmas raffle and bazaar. We also obtain funds from the sale of donated goods. Additional fund raising events are held from time to time as and when decided on by the trustees.

The charity's activities include the running of Girlguiding Dunstable Division, Windy Sayles (indoor residential, activity centre and campsite) and Windy Sayles shop (selling badges, books, uniform etc)

Our Society embraces Battersea as a great place to live and work. We celebrate Battersea's past, support its present and promote its future. We run a programme of walks, talks, social events, visits and exhibitions and our rebranded website includes an online shop selling Battersea-themed publications and wares. We publish a quarterly journal and a monthly e-newsletter.

We have provided financial and other support to the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Service to further the advancement of the musical education of students in the County Youth Music groups. Funds were raised by holding various concerts throughout the year, operating a tuck shop at the Kettering Road site, producing and selling "hoodies" and producing and selling audio and photo cds.

Our aim is to advance the education and well-being of the pupils in the school. Our main activities include supporting family and pupil well being with our pre-loved uniform shop and hardship fund. We also organise and facilitate both non-profit events and profit making events. Money raised directly funds education and well-being resources for the school.

Community Parenting, poverty relief, helping the homeless, helping women victims of domestic, alcoholics, helping orphans with accommodation and education, people with mental health problems, religion, supporting young people and creating also an environment to identify self talent and gifts, space for the community activities and charity shop and referring people when they can get help.

The Weald Society arranges holidays for people with disablilities in it's own chalet at Greatstone. Fees for the use of the chalet are required but can be reduced by applying for a bursery. Forms are available by post. Money for the burseries is provided from the profits of the charity shop which operates in Hawkhurst. If funds allow the charity also offers grants for disability aids.

LOCAL RETAIL CHARITY SHOP WHO'S PROCEEDS ARE GIVEN TO ELDERLY RESIDENTS OVER 65 IN THE VILLAGE OF RUABON (ANNUALLY).
