We regularly fund raise for local organisations and our WI charity ACWW. Fund raising activities include pop up cake shops and craft tables at local fetes

The charity provides school clothing and footwear for disadvantaged children in Blackpool. But for the Fund, these children could remain off school as their parents would otherwise not be able to afford to clothe them. Applications are administered by members of the Student Support Team. When approved, vouchers are issued to be redeemed in participating local retailers and school shop suppliers.

We no longer run a Charity Shop , we have very little fundraising now

Currently the charity raises money through it`s shop premises to provide grants to disabled people with families.This can also cover direct help to the carers where they need help with a break/holiday or any other support that may be available e.g advise.Those with internet can click onto the charity web site ,read what others say and enter their owns views.There is also a holiday home for carers.

Coffee afternoons, Summer Fairs, Discos, Clothing collections, tuck shops

disco, bingo night, Christmas fair, Christmas shop, Mother's Day shop, Father's Day shop, afternoon tea for the local community, charity runs, etc.

Raise monies through various events ( Shop, Coffee Mornings, Donations, etc.) to benefit the patients and staff at the Alnwick hospitals.

We support hosts and guests in the local area by providing opportunities for people to network and access information and support.We host WhatsApp groups, run weekly social meet ups, provide free English lessons, run a free shop from donations, fund a dedicated Ukraine specific Citizens Advice service and provide grants.We raise funds to support these initiatives.

Raising funds for school projects through charity events including summer and Christmas fairs, fathers/mothers day shops, tuck shop and school uniform sales.

Organise volunteer car drivers to drive residents of Woodcote and surrounding villages without access to their own car, public transport, or any other form of transport to appointments, shops or other venues. Collect prescriptions for these residents who cannot otherwise do so. Organise social/recreational or other activities for this same group with the aim of reducing social or digital isolation

Our charity actively supports vulnerable people, young people released from the prison and people who are homeless. We are currently actively running a Foodbank scheme and have recently acquired premises from Coventry City Council to allow us to set up a charity shop providing low cost clothing and household items for those on low incomes.

SPECIAL SCHOOL - FUND RAISING THROUGH TUCK SHOP/SCHOOL TRIPS/SCHOOL UNIFORM/SUPPORTING OTHER CHARITIES

The PTA raises money to sponsor a variety of activities to extend pupil opportunities at the school, e.g. they sponsor curriculum transport (due to the schools rural location this is very expensive and due to this sponsorship all pupils can participate), the school shop, buy equipment to enhance learning, etc.

Our purpose is to provide entertainment and an opportunity for socialising in a village where there is no pub, shop or other place for villagers to meet up. We have a structured programme of events and add to these throughout the year as we feel the village would like. These include a weekly soup gathering, harvest supper, christmas party, summer feast, quiz nights and others

We give support to persons with special needs in Nigeria and Ghana through training and school fees payment. We are also growing our membership and volunteers. We are planning for the Future Talks in school. A day Science Expo for the blind. And our December Hands on Science Camp and Charity fund raising event in Sheffield, and others. We are opening Charity Shops.

To provide support for individuals and groups within the parish of Sheepwash. Recent examples are support for the local primary school to buy educational equipment & a xmas box for the pensioners in the parish- a xmas party for the children and a social outing for the village. The community shop, the village hall, and places of worship are also supported.

Community Mini Bus Scheme. Serves a number of villages in Oxfordshire, taking elderly residents to local amenities, shops and health centres.

Young people-holiday literacy; sports group; arts group; adult-advice surgeries; English speaking practice; general community work.

Jumble sales for club funds, Bingo's for club funds. Small raffles for club funds for club members only. Street & shop collections for club funds. Weekly lottery for club members only.

Although we are a Masonic organisation, the bulk of our donations, of over 95% are made to local charities. This year donations of £500.00 have been made to each of the following: The Hamlet Charity; Thornage Hall Independent Living; Norfolk Family Carers; Together for Mental Wellbeing; The Smile Shop CIC and £1000.00 to Fresh Start - New Beginnings.

We raise funds through our hospital shop, selling drinks and snacks and Bric-a-Brac We also hold an Easter and Christmas Raffle each year. The funds are given to the hospital by purchasing equipment for the ward, physiotherapy unit, podiatry and chiropody unit and other clinics.

Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre, Tuck Shop, Beetledrive, Half term activities, School Disco's, Christmas cards and general fund raising for the school children

To provide and maintain an amenity for the use of the village community as it is the only venue available in Tilmanstone Village in which to hold meetings, events, celebrations, receptions, fund raising events for charitities, a village market now that the village shop, public house and school have closed.

The Bedwyns' Link Scheme now covers the parishes of Great and Little Bedwyn, St Katherines, East and West Grafton, Wilton, Marten, Wexcombe.It is a good neighbour scheme which mainly enables our clients to reach local facilities like shops, post office, doctor's surgery and local hospitals. A small number of other activities such as home visits are also undertaken.
