The Trust provides grants towards organisations and other charities and individuals which are concerned with the Trust's objects. The Trustees meet at least twice a year to discuss who should benefit from the grants, and to consider the progress of the Trust's investments. The Trustees will review the beneficiaries of the grants on a regular basis.

The charity helps provide relief to the poor and needy, however caused. It helps those in poverty, those who are sick or disabled, the elderly and young people. It does this by providing grants to individuals and organisations and advice and advocacy. It operates in Devon, Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly, throughout the UK and internationally.

Grants to college & university students living in the parish. Grants to playing field. Grants to childrens and young peoples activities within the parish.

ISSUE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS IN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF WESTBERE FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND FOR EDUCATION.

Interest from investments enables donations and grants to approved causes

The object of the fund shall be to advance the Christian religion by providing financial assistance to Churches in the diocese of Lichfield and in the Archdeaconry of Stoke-on-Trent, for the purposes of maintaining and improving their bell installations by making grants to them.

The Funds are to be applied for and or towards such charitable purposes at such time or timesand in such manner as the Trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit. RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT ADDENBROOKES HOSPITAL, IPSWICH HOSPITAL & EAST ANGLIAN CHILDREN?S HOSPICES. MAKING GRANTS TOWARDS FUNDING A MUSIC THERAPY POST, SUPPLYING MUSIC TROLLEYS THAT CAN BE USED FOR MUSICAL ACTIVITIES WHILE CHILDREN ARE STAYING IN HOSPITAL, & PROVIDING GIFTS OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS OR OTHER MUSIC RELATED ITEMS TO INDIVIDUALS, VIA REQUESTS FROM THE HOSPITAL PAEDIATRIC DEPARTMENTS.

In accordance with the terms of the Foundation Deed dated 17th November 1855, the Trustees meet annually to distribute the income received from the Trust Funds by way of appropriate grants to churches within the present and ancient Diocese of Gloucester.

The Rotary Club of Stone & District provides Community Service locally, nationally and internationally either by volunteering or by using funds contributed by members of the Club or by the general public. Such service may include educational grants, or grants to relieve poverty

In pursuance of the overall goals of its charitable objectives, and in order to meet the aims of the trusteesÔÇÖ current strategy, the charityÔÇÖs principal charitable activity is the giving of grants to suitable institutions within each of the categories of Objects as stated in the trust deed.

It controls an enrichment fund and makes grants to Filton high School (the organisation/school) to support and increase opportunities for all the pupils in a variety of ways, supplementary to the provision of local education authority funding, where benefit is considered to be enriching.

Purchase of equipment for intensive care at Cheltenham General Hospital. Financing of educational courses for nurses and doctors at Cheltenham ICU. Provision of grants for research into intensive care.

Objective is to raise funds for general charitable purposes, making grants available to individuals and organisations and general public

The Objects of the Charity fall into two broad categories, educational and Christian. The Trust Deed specifically authorises the production and distribution of appropriate films and other audio-visual productions in furtherance of its charitable purposes. It may also make grants to individuals and organisations.

To make grants to individuals no more than 24 years of age at the first grant (but with power to continue the grants to 26 years) resident within the area of Wakefield Metropolitan Council where such individuals need grants for the payment of certain fees, outfits, travelling or maintenance expenses for their advancement in life or to enable them to earn their living.
