The Cup of Kindness assists in the relief of poor or necessitous persons through the provision of grants, goods and monetary payments. The Cup of Kindness also helps assist in the provision of equipment, facilities and services for hospitals and hospices, not normally provided by the statutory authorities.

Our purpose is to help bring about a transformation in Cambodia summed up by our motto 'From Killing Fields to Living Fields'. We help fund the education of Cambodian children, particularly the disadvantaged. We make grants to improve the standard of living of the poor. We are a Christian charity and we support and work with the Cambodian church and Christian organisations in Cambodia.

To relieve persons in need who are or who have been engaged in the building trade or connected with and to provide grants to such charitable institutions as the trustees in their absolute discretion determine.

We are a small family trust usually meeting in April/October. We only accept postal applications: please do not phone. Do include s.a.e. for response if unsuccessful . We generally give grants to charitable projects within 40 miles of Brailes, S.E.Warwickshire, including church repairs, hospital and hospice projects, village appeals, and "character forming" activities for young people.

The object of CSL UK is to support the Zambian NGO, Conservation South Luangwa which works to protect the wildlife and habitats of the South Luangwa Ecosystem.CSL UK acts as means for UK tax payers to contribute to the activities of CSL in Zambia in a tax efficient manner. All monies raised, after minor necessary expenses, are contributed as grants to CSL

We make grants to small projects in NW Russia that help young people with disabilities. In 1994, we created a specialist library and cultural centre at 46 Fontanka Embankment, in St Petersburg, Russia,'The Prince George Galitzine Memorial Library', the aim of which was to preserve Russian history of the 20th Century through books about Russia printed abroad, we no longer support the library.

As well as providing grants to deserving causes within Stratford on Avon & Warwickshire and requests from Lions Clubs International for Lions sponsored projects overseas, we undertake a number of community service projects. Edwinstowe & The Dukeries Lions Club serves the community as well as helping people internationally. Their work with people who are elderly, disabled and or disadvantaged, benefits not only those who are helped, but also the wider community by making it a better place to live and work. They also make grants to national and international appeals (eg to relieve poverty respond to disaster relief.

Grant giving trust

The objects of the trust are to advance the education of students in Africa; currently Zambia, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. Pupils and students are either awarded scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants to pay for their further education, or provided with and assisted in the provision of resources for education at the school/university.

The Trust exists to make grants to the Methodist churches comprising the North Bedfordshire Methodist Circuit, and to the Circuit itself.

The Charity provides benefits to the School not normally provided by the Local Education Authority. It also provides grants to promote the education of persons who are pupils or former pupils of the School who are under the 25 years of age. If income permits, grants are also given to persons under 25 years of age who are resident or who have a parent resident in the area of benefit.

The Charity operates as part of Weymouth Rotary Club to give grants to local & overseas causes. Often given to help organisations supporting young people but it is not prescriptive and individuals and other local groups can be helped.
