The Society promotes, enhances, develops and maintains public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects. It does this through rehearsals and concert performances of the choral repertoire mostly with full orchestra, as well as through workshops and visits to performances of professional choral groups and orchestras.
