Every Scout District is an autonomous organisation holding its own property and equipment and admitting people to membership of the Scout District subject to the Policy and Rules of The Scout Association. The North Dorset Beekeepers Association aims to advance the education of the public and beekeepers in the craft of beekeeping and the importance of bees in the environment. It provides basic and advanced training in accordance with the policies of the British Beekeepers Association, keeps qualified members up to date and attends local events to help educate the general public
