The object of the Charity is to make grants to any charity for any charitable purpose, at the Trustees' discretion, but preferably to those recipients likely to further Christianity, support the relief of poverty and assist the aged and infirm.

Mission Initiative Newcastle East (MINE) is a charity which grew out of the work of four Church of England parishes in this area of deprivation as a means of connecting with the community and providing services that would benefit the welfare of the area. Our two main activities are in Youth and Children's Work and Debt Advice though we collaborate on other local projects.

Up to 10,000 visitors a year since reopened Henley Collection. Upgraded Maritime history room reopened for 2010. Dartmouth's social and WW II story in 2011. Upgraded shop 2020. Accreditation 2008, 2011 and 2018. Talks in winter. Mayflower gallery Oct 2021. Outreach activities, schools/adults. Jesse Room (ceiling Tree of Jesse) during opening hours. Open 6 days a week all year bar 3 public hols.

Waveney Bird Club advances the education of the public in the knowledge, study and conservation of birds in the counties of Suffolk and Norfolk with a particular focus on the Waveney valley area. We promote the conservation of birds by encouraging the submission of records, publishing newsletters and articles and carrying out educational activities including indoor and field meetings.

The advancement of education of the public in the knowledge and understanding of investmentmanagement, the role of investment managers and related aspects of personal finance.

Our purpose is to provide a welcoming place for the people of Broughton. The setting is a well-presented coffee shop run by around 20 volunteers. We are primarily a meeting place in the community, especially those who are lonely or in need, and host regular activities for a number of groups. The shop acts as an outlet for the Aylesbury Trussell Trust food bank .

The Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund raised money to help the pupils of Holly Grove Primary School who have learning difficulties and disabilities. We raise money to send these children on residential trips, help fund sensory and medical equipment and provide grants to families in need.

OUR WORK INCLUDES, FIRE PREVENTION, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR E.G FIRESETTING, COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND SAFE DRIVING. WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

For the promotion of the arts for the benefit of the public through the presentation of dramatic and other arts in particular opera.For the advancement of education of the public in dramatic and other arts, predominantly in the Thames Gateway area.

Grant making

Offers small grants to young people aged 8 - 25 living in the Bassetlaw district of North Nottinghamshire. Arranges events for young people, offers advice and information on issues concerning young people

The Keble Association provides grants to students. The charity provides help at time of severe financial strain for study, travel, internships and other costs that would otherwise restrict access to a full student life at Keble

To advance the education of the public by promoting artistic activities and performing as part of such activities, particularly performing works composed and/or written by those of Welsh origin and/or in the Welsh language (Welsh Works).To promote public education and training in choral music, particularly in Welsh works.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN INDIA AND UK IN THE HISTORY, CULTURE AND TRADITIONS OF THE HINDU RELIGION THROUGH SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL AND RELIGIOUS EVENTS.

The Trustees meet twice a year to consider applications and make grants. Although some donations may be made to the same charities each year, none are promised or guaranteed. Due to constraints on income, unsolicited applications can no longer be considered.

The trustees normally only make grants or loans to to other registered charities.

To advance the education of the public community within the City of Plymouth, the surrounding county of Devon and worldwide for the public benefit in relation to culture, the arts, history and heritage in particular but without limitation through the museum, galleries and archival facilities at The Box museum and St Lukes Church premises in the city of Plymouth

Since the sad closure of the school in July 2010, the main focus of the charity is now grant making to other charitable organisations that support the Objectives and philosophy of Ovingdean Hall School. This includes the promotion and provision of high quality education for deaf children and young people whilst supporting their individual social, emotional and physical needs.

The objectives of the Society are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of orchestral music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society may determine. SPO rehearses once a week, for approx 44 weeks a year and currently performs four concerts per year in Huddersfield Town Hall, plus other concerts elsewhere.

The Retired Clergy and Dependants Fund provides for the relief of poverty by assisting retired Church of England clergy, licensed lay workers or deserted spouses of clergy who reside or served in the Diocese of Carlisle and their dependants. It makes grants to assist with the costs of moving when clergy retire and provides support throughout the year but in particular at Christmas.
