Making grants to pupils of Bradford Grammar School

Queensbury Life CIO is working to preserve Victoria Hall in Sandbeds Queensbury as an asset for the Community. We are gathering organisations and individuals with an interest in preserving the building and the services that can be offered from the building for the benefit members of public in the Queensbury ward and surrounding areas.

The Fund is available to assist in raising monies for the benefit of the Cathedral's upkeep. Recently the Cathedral has been given a major refurbishment and reordering. This fund has assisted in donating monies towards the costs.

Oriental Arts promotes and develops high quality South Asian arts, enhanced by educational activities, to provide a rich and satisfying experience for all.

Raising Awareness and Reaching Marginal Community with Sickle Cell Disease or AnaemiaProvide information, advice and support to families and individuals affected by sickle cell and thalassaemia, on the telephone, by email and through home visits. Work with professionals to ensure that individuals with sickle cell and thalassaemia get the optimum service from health, education, etc.

Our Charity offers Urdu and Arabic Language classes for young people. We provide Quran classes for young children or Adults. We also provide Homework clubs for English, Maths and Science and preparation for 11 year olds and above.

1, TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO MUSIC EDUCATION THROUGH COMMUNITY SPACES TO INCLUDE SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY HALLS AND MUSIC EVENTS I.E FESTIVALS.2, TO PROVIDE PROVISION OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS TO THOSE WHO CANNOT OTHERWISE AFFORD TO DO SO.3, TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO REHEARSAL SPACE AND TUITION TO ADVANCE MUSIC EDUCATION TO THOSE WHO CANNOT OTHERWISE AFFORD TO DO SO.4, TO PROVIDE FREE ACCESS TO MUSIC EVENTS.

To advance the Gospel of The Kingdom of God for the benefit of the public, to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known worldwide in particular but noe exclusively through holding of prayer meetings, Lectures and or producing distributing literature on Christian faith, to enlighten others about Christ.

The charitys bank account was closed on 11th December 2006

General Charitable purposes - providing support to local charities, community projects, individuals, voluntary groups, activities and good causes that make a positive difference in the Yorkshire area.

The Trust remains solely to dispose of the money in its bank account. I, as sole trustee, have been released from the lease of the land, following advice of the CC legal officers. The land is back with Bradford Council and continues to be a Millennium Green. When I have gathered together all accounts, and my expenses, I will seek yto transfer the money to Bradford Council.

We have now hosted two successful Christmas Time "Music on the Station" Events. Each event being used to collect monies for the CandleLighters Charity.In addition we have also enhanced the appearance of Ilkley Rail Station by providing Five Containers which have been planted up by five local schools.

To advance the education of children, in particular orphans in countries such as Pakistan. The relief of sickness and preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in Pakistan and other countries.

Football, Netball, Basketball, badminton, Fitness Classes, Fitness Coaching, usage of Gym, First Aid, presentations, safety awareness courses, Residential trips, Fundraising & Classroom Activities.

- Providing sport and educational activities to young people and adults- Supporting the development of young players and coaches through mentoring- Working with the wider football community to better engage communities which are under-represented within the football industry- Using football as a tool for social change, providing structured football activities within marginalised areas

Promotion, nurture & support of high standards among BAME artists & creative practitioners in all branches of the performing arts, enabling them to secure employment across the spectrum of existing & new, mainstream & fringe opportunities.Creative enterprise training; 1:1 mentoring; showcases; building relationships with mainstream organisations to facilitate BAME practitioner participation

PROPAGATING THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TEACHINGS.PROVIDES CHILD CARE NURSERY FOR 2-5 YEAR OLDS. THIS HELP MEMBERS AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

To preserve and protect the health of persons residing in Nigeria in need of treatment and care in particular, but not exclusively by:i. The provision of adequate medical equipment to hospital and health centres such as blood glucose machines, blood pressure machines and oxygen saturation monitors; andii. To organise conferences, seminars, and training of health care professionals

Create awareness around mild/moderate mental health illnesses for south Asian women and girls in Bradford, thus building confidence, self-esteem and improving quality of life.

To promote and advance the arts, culture, education, local and agricultural heritage through the medium of projects, theatre, events, festivals, visual arts, outreach work, training classes and workshops for the benefit of the general public with the aim of improvement and enhancement to the persons served.

Bradford African and Caribbean Elders (BACE) brings together older people from African and Caribbean Community across Bradford District to identify and promote awareness of their needs and to support individuals and groups.

Supporting Wellhouse Village Club to ensure that a public room remains available for the people of the village.To engage with the local residents to maintain and improve the village activities and environment.
