West London YMCA's mission is developing opportunities to transform young lives. The charity aims to show Christian faith in action in its local communities. West London YMCA works through supported housing, training and development, youth work and children's activites, open to all and prioritizing youth with fewer opportunities.

The Charity was established to raise monies in order to provide facilities in the form of a deep water pool in North London to help the advancement of the amateur sports of diving, synchronised swimming and scuba diving both for able-bodied and disability sport.

We no longer operate the Friendship Social Club, we concentrate mainly on the annual Jamaica Day event that we have run for the past 10 years. Please note that although we call it Jamaica Day, we do not charge an entry fee and the event is open to all communities to come and enjoy. To fund this project we depend on grants from various organisations/bodies.

Amateur Community Drama Society producing two plays each year, organising theatre outings and participating in community events.

We exists to advance the provision of safe and satisfying play the education of children aged under 5, The relief of poverty among families in particular by the provision of information and advice.Services run from our premises are provided through a lease/contract by London Early Years Foundation which is a charity.

The object of the CIO is to advance the Muslim religion in Brent and surrounding areas for thebenefit of the public, through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures and public celebration ofreligious festivals and in such other ways as the trustees see fit, to enlighten others about theMuslim religion.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES BY WAY OF EMPOWERING DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES

The object of the charity is the advancement of education in the subject of the Jewish religion and its heritage and the advancement of higher education and vocational training for young women of the Orthodox Jewish faith in particular but not exclusively by establishing, managing, maintaining and supporting a college for young women of the Orthodox Jewish faith in greater London.

During 2012- 13, DDA carried out cultural event attended by 110 people. This highlighted Somali culture and brought together people from different background aimed at promoting social cohesion and integration of migrant community. DDA also provided information & advice to 80 individuals on wide ranging services. Recruited, trained and used the service of 3 volunteers in delivering its services.

BRENT MOSQUE PROVIDES A PLACE OF WORSHIP FOR MUSLIMS INCLUDING THE 5 DAILY PRAYERS, THE JUMU'A FRIDAY PRAYER, THE TARAWIH PRAYERS IN RAMADAN AND THE 2 'EID PRAYERS. WE PROVIDE DAILY LESSONS IN ARABIC AND THE QUR'AN FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN AND INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE TEACHINGS OF ISLAM FOR ANYONE WHO SEEKS IT. WE ALSO ASSIST IN FEEDING THE HUNGRY AND RELIEVING THE POOR BY SHARING ZAKAT.

Training & Development in Broadcast, Print, Film and New Media. In addition, Hayes FM undertakes broadcasting and production activities.

The objects of the charity are to advance Orthodox Jewish education in accordance with the doctrine and principles of the Orthodox Jewish faith as laid down in the Shulchan Aruch.

Revive Charity mission is to promote and protect the physical and mental health and relieve the needs of those residing in the boroughs of Harrow, Ealing, Brent and Hillingdon and surrounding areas suffering from mental health issues and isolation by the provision of activities such as counselling, exercise classes, knit and natter, arts and craft, befriending and other activities.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN "BHARATHANATYAM" (INDIAN DANCE) AND IN FUTURE TO INCORPORATE TAMIL LANGUAGE, MUSIC, CULTURE AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES.

Our current activities include fundraising for Leopold Primary School, in Brent, North West London. This is done by holding fundraising events for the school.

The Fix-Up Programme engages young people between the ages of 13 - 25 years old back into education and training through Performing Arts, Media and I.T.

No longer active (as of 25th February 2013); previously raised funds for cancer-related charities, in both the UK and Sri Lanka.
