Extraordinary Links CIO currently operates in Shirehampton and the surrounding areas in Bristol. We currently offer a free activity group for disabled and SEN children and their families. We also offer support and sign-posting to parent/carers on organisation which can help their child.

Providing lectures and bursaries

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential. The method of achieving the aim of the Scout Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and law and guided by adult leadership.

Leigh Network supports families across the UK affected by mitochondrial disease both with an online presence where families can share information and in person. We hold annual meet ups which include family fun days out, sometimes including a doctor specialising in the condition. We also support research and raise awareness. We hold monthly zoom calls to ease the isolation.

Providing additional benefits to the residents of the Manor House and related users

Firebird Theatre is a company of disabled performers. Its main activities include:making and performing exciting and innovative theatre; touring; devising and delivering workshops/presentations/ performances to young disabled and non-disabled people, teachers and professionals; showing its work to as many people as possible;supporting other disabled people to be involved in theatre.

We are a Carol Party who sing at Christmas and raise funds for charity

We hold an annual music festival in South Gloucestershire, as well as other in-year concerts and musical activities, for the public benefit. We host world-class concerts across many genres (including classical, jazz, folk, world, pop) and stimulating interactive workshops, using public funding to keep ticket prices low, so that our musical events are accessible to all.

To foster an appreciation of the art and science of music by the presentation of collaborative projects. The group endeavours to offer music rarely performed due to the scale required using very large groups of singers and orchestral players. Workshops, concerts and associated activities will be offered involving a wide spectrum of choral societies.

The Southern Africa Resource Centre (SARC) looks to promote networks and strategic partnerships between communities in Bristol and Southern Africa, in particular, in Beira, Mozambique, to identify ideas and opportunities through a people-to-people approach to create positive outcomes and sustainable change.

We are a non-auditioning community choir based in Bristol. Our main activities are organising and performing public choral concerts and making musical contributions to community festivals and other public events. Membership is open to all ages and levels of experience. We have a broad eclectic range of musical tastes. We were known as Redland Green Community Chorus from 2008 until 2014.

Performance of lesser-known early choral and instrumental music

Our charity aims to raise funds by holding events such as fairs, raffles and school discos. The funds are used to fund school trips, resources and enrichment activities for pupils at the school.
