CARING FOR CARERS IN THE COMMUNITY AND AREA OF BRISTOL

Fund raising and distribution of funds to support activities that benefit people with musculoskeletal disease. Particularly relating to the knee.

Make grants to or for the benefit of units of regular and reserve forces and their associated organisation and all arms of the cadet services located within Gloucestershire and the County and City of Bristol, and to relieve veterans and dependents being those in hardship or distress that have been members of those units and support other charitable organisations which further the above objectives.

Fund projects to relieve poverty in the UK & Overseas.

Currently a dormant company, planning to use it as the vehicle into which the existing Bristol Cathedral Trust charity is incorporated.

The charity was established for the advancement of the religious and other charitable purposes in connection with the Church of England including the advancement of public education in the parish of Bishopsworth in 1976

The charity supports Christian mission through financial gifts to individuals & Christian organisations. It is also able to finance activities such as education/medical aid to foreign missions.

Clicendales offer financial support towards the care and support of sufferers of cancer under 18 years. This involves making grants to aid resultant financial hardship, the costs of travel and accommodation incurred attending cancer-related therapies, issuing grants to cancer specialist services and aiding related volunteer services.

Paul's Place provides education, life-skills, sports, social & recreational activities, accommodation, together with practical support and advice, for physically, sensory and cognitively impaired adults and their carers in South Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.

SRCDC EXISTS TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMIC WELL BEING OF SIKHS AND OTHER LOCAL MINORITY COMMUNITIES IN THE AREA. THE CENTRE OBJECTIVES ARE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: EDUCATION, TRAINING, ARTS, SIKH CULTURE & RELIGION, SPORTS, RECREATION, ECONOMIC WELL BEING, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, WORKING WITH OTHER FAITH ORGANISATIONS, HELPING HAND FOR THE ELDERLY PEOPLE AND HEALTH EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS.

The charity engages with the arts in the city of Bath and in wider society.

The Angolan Refugee Project exists to empower the Angolan community so they can participate fully in the development of their communities we actively involved in providing services to people of Angolan origin within the United Kingdom and aboard. The activities include the provision of information and advice, raising fund for projects in the UK.

Cycling Without Age Bristol harnesses the pedal power of volunteer cyclists in Bristol to take local care home residents out on free trishaw rides to feel the wind in their hair! The trishaw is a specially adapted, three-wheel cycle with a passenger cab out front.
