The Society actively supports the steam traction engine preservation movement by encouraging interest in their restoration, operation, and by providing advice to owners, drivers and similar preservation groups in addition to the general public. Monthly club evenings when informative and educational talks and presentations are given.

Sing for your Life (South East) Ltd is dedicated to providing participatory singing programmes for older people. We provide the Silver Song Music Pod, which plugs in to a television. We have recorded original versions of popular songs from the past, which exclude long introductions and instrumental solos. The equipment enables us to alter the key and the tempo of the songs to suit the singers.

For the public benefit the relief of the needs of refugees wherever they are in the world, particularly, but not exclusively, by the provision of food, clothing and any other goods that are needed.
