Day care service for older people

TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION THROUGH THE SPORT OF ATHLETICS AT CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY IN PARTICULAR BY THE FOLLOWING:THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, COACHING, EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORT, COMPETITION, PHYSIOTHERAPY OR OTHER SUPPORT WHICH WILL ENABLE AND ENCOURAGE STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE TO TEACH, LEARN AND TAKE PART IN ATHLETICSTHE PROVISION OF INDIVIDUAL GRANTS

To alleviate poverty in the Linton community

On Sunday June 21 2015 the Huntingdon Charity 10k & 3k Races, 1k Fun Run & Spectator Village took place to promote activity and fitness. The sixth year of the race, all profits from the race are given to charities that support people in Cambridgeshire to get more active and involved in their local communities, whatever their needs. The Trustees evaluate the charitable applications.

The aim of the RDTF is to help talented, under-privileged children to play tennis on a regular basis, providing an opportunity which would not otherwise exist due to financial or social disadvantages. Young people will be educated in essential skills that result from involvement in tennis on a regular basis: fair-play, sportsmanship, discipline, respect for others, and a good work ethic.

For grants to the poor and needy in Farcet and maintenance of the Nightingale graves in Yaxley cemetery.

The charity contributes to communities by fund raising, organising and promoting educationally and culturally enriching activities. It also helps to support other charitable organisations that are making a direct contribution to their local community.

The Future East partnership aims to heighten awareness of the impact and implications of an ageing society in the East of England and to provide practical responses to them. Seminars on issues of direct concern to older people in which we involve individual older people, statutory agencies, voluntary organisations and younger people. Organises biennial children's book festival in Cambridgeshire village of Linton. Featuring authors and illustrators, musical and dramatic performances and other associated activities.

The presentation of musical concerts and other events.

To advance the education of the children at the nursery by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for learning not normally provided by LEA funding. This may also include: 1) Fostering more extended relationships between families of the children at the nursery, their friends and the local community. 2) Engaging in activities which support the nursery.

The invested funds of The Florence Hylda Dennis Trust are available to support the object of the charity, namely 'the relief of the elderly of Wisbech and the surrounding area in such ways as the trustees think fit and in particular to support the St Augustine's Day Centre, Wisbech'

We provide a social club for people with physical disabilities. We meet once a week and activities include art classes, craft classes, quizes, raffles, bingo, computer lessons, outings to various places of interest and local shopping trips.

Our aim is to work closely with communities. The Trust encompasses communities within a 20 mile radius of St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
