Cambridgeshire Workplace Chaplaincy aims to support Chaplains of all faiths across Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas in their work of meeting the spiritual needs of people in work settings of all kinds, whether commercial, public or voluntary sector.

The Trust raises funds to support residents of Whitworth House, a hostel for homeless and vulnerable young women aged 16-25. It also raises money to help vulnerable and homeless women in Cambridge more generally, including women of any stage of life, with children or without, and offers assistance and support to women in finding and securing affordable accommodation.

For such charitable purposes and objects in such shares and in such a manner in all respects as the Trustees in their absolute discretion may think fit.

The village hall is open to all within the village of Southoe and surrounding areas.

Read Easy Cambridge trains volunteers to support illiterate adults in the local community to learn to read, on a 1 to 1 basis, free of charge, and in a public space, using a time tested and highly successful method.

Provides support and activities including outings for Adults and Children with Learning Difficulties and their families.

We work with the school to provide a way for parents, relatives and friends to get involved with the school and the education that the children receive. We also pay for items that we feel will improve the educational and social experiences of the children. The money is raised by a variety of activities such as Summer and Christmas fairs and the sale of snacks and drinks at school events.

We provide a well maintained building with parking facilities, disabled access and toilet facilities. The hall is used by local groups and a pre-school. It is available for hire, and is a popular venue for children's parties, exercise classes etc.

The trustees have set up the Endowment fund and have given their first grant under the new terms of the Charity. The Trustees are actively seeking ways of promoting the Charity to the local community.

THE ST LUKE'S PTA (AKA FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL, OR FOSSILS) BRINGS TOGETHER PARENTS/CARERS AND TEACHERS TO ORGANISE EVENTS THAT ARE FUN; BRING THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY CLOSER; AND RAISE MUCH-NEEDED FUNDS FOR EXTRA-CURRICULAR ITEMS - PLAY EQUIPMENT, SCHOOL TRIPS, EXTRA DT SUPPLIES AND THE LIKE.

ASSISTING PERSONS IN NEED OF HELP WITH THE WELFARE OF THEIR PETS, IN THE MAIN THE ELDERLY, UNEMPLOYED OR DISABLED. ALSO ASSISTING WITH HOMELESS ANIMALS. PETS IN CRISIS AND WILDLIFE.
