SUPPORTING OLD AND POOR PEOPLE IN THE PARISH OF WESTON COLVILLE

We hold one religious service each month. We also provide a venue for local homeless organisations to hold gatherings. We are used by local theatre companies, music organisations and visual artists as a venue. We open regularly for visits by schools and local history groups.

The Charity owns and manages a woodland in Dry Drayton for the benefit of all residents in Dry Drayton and visitors to the village.

Allotments

The Cambridge Historical Society was started in 1923 as the Faculty's first research seminar, the following year began publishing the Cambridge Historical Journal, one of the country's leading scholarly periodicals, and more recently has been making annual awards of small grants to support research.

We at FOFs fundraise to help provide the school with additional equipment, to help towards the costs of outings or visits for the children and to enhance the school environment. FOFs, and the school, like to be active within the community and help our environment.

OAKINGTON CHURCH CHARITY WAS INITIALLY SET UP TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO WIDOWS IN THE PARISH. THIS SUPPORT IS NO LONGER NECESSARY WITH MODERN SUPPPORT AVAILABLE, OUR CURRENT FUNCTION IS TO GIVE A LITTLE MONEY TO DESERVING RETIRED PERSONS RESIDENT TO OAKINGTON & WESTWICK.
