By providing a community hub in the form of a regenerated play area, the children can play, socialise and network, addressing health and mental well being, whilst providing support opportunities for the parents and other residents.

RELIEF OF POVERTY

New Connexions is an Evangelical Church serving the community in the Barns Area of Ely

WE LEASE THE HALL TO THE PARISH COUNCIL FOR USE AS A VILLAGE HALL IN THE VILLAGE OF HAIL WESTON. WE USE THE HALL FOR RELIGIOUS EVENTS; CHURCH MEETINGS, CHURCH SERVICES AND FUND RAISING EVENTS FOR THE CHURCH.

Owns land. Rental income given to the support of Girton Parish Church.

Village Church providing weekly services for residents and visitors, weddings, funerals baptism etc counselling.Fund raising and various social activities on a regular basis throughout the year.

To stimulate interest in, and care for, the attractiveness, history and character of the village and its surrounds.

Provide education and cultural activities for youth. Care and support for the elderly. Organise and run functions to increase Community cohesion.Raise money for local charities in particular for Epilepsy through sponsored walks by members

Churchwardens discretion

The only activity is as head lessor for the charity 'Hamerton Village Hall Reg. No. 1100907', and receives no income and has no expenditure.

We work with local people with disabilities, their families and carers. We support people to have choice and take control over their own lives, share examples of good practice and facilitate peer support. Current projects include: Self Directed Support training, Personal Assistant register, Voice Network and ongoing support for the Cambridgeshire County Council Partnership Boards.
