Budleigh-Syrian Community Sponsorship works in Budleigh Salterton and surrounding areas to support the resettlement of refugees as part of the government community sponsorship scheme. We provide advice and assistance required to help families to adapt, settle and live independently within their new community. We advance the education of the public in general about the issues relating to refugees.

The Soundhouse Trust provides a wide range of youth and community music activities for people local to its area.

The Trust is planning to construct a public slipway into the river Dart at Dartmouth and is currently investigating the technical and planning options. Following the identification of the options the next stages will be public consultation and fundraising.

Fundraising by parents for the school

To raise funds for our school to help encourage our pupils to integrate with each other and to involve the local community when we run our events. We do also look for help outside by means of grants to help improve children's learning relaxation areas. We are a small school in Exeter Devon.

FORCE is a Westcountry cancer charity dedicated to assisting local cancer patients and their families. FORCE provides patient support at our purpose build centre, funds a local research programme and purchases "state fo the art" equipment for local cancer treatment centres. The charity was incorporated in 2011 and now operates as FORCE Cancer Charity reg no 1140676.

The charity supports Christian mission through financial gifts to individuals & Christian organisations. It is also able to finance activities such as education/medical aid to foreign missions.

Provision of facilities for use by local sports clubs, businesses and local people for sports, cricket, football etc. & recreational use for adults and young people. Provide the use of building, facilities and grounds.

To provide and maintain Ashwater Parish Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ashwater and area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions and include use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure with the object of improving conditions of life for the inhabitants.

The Trust is the freehold owner of an area known locally as Golden Lion Square. Through grants & local sponsorship the area has been landscaped & laid out as a quality public open space, including planting & performance area. The Trust now intends to support the local Project - Newton's Place & add an object to its Articles - 'To advance education by the establishment and maintenance of a museum.'

EDP's mission is to open doors for people affected by substance misuse so they can improve their lives and those of their families and communities. It is EDP's vision to improve the quality of life for people affected by substance misuse.

We are helping provide school based competitive opportunities for pupils to learn theoretical and practical science, technology, engineering and mathematics and related skills that assists the advancement of education of young people for the public benefit in North Devon.

Grant Giving

We provide weekly drop-in facilities for people with disabilities, to provide advice and guidance about welfare rights matters. We provide training, either in groups, or one-to-one, in, use of computers, healthy eating, and other skills which enable people to live independently.We provide outings and events; we help people with any task or meeting they wish to attend.
