The PTA supports school in organising fund - raising activities such as raffles, social nights, children's discos,seasonal Fayres and events such as fashion shows where the PTA as hosts take a commission on the total sales etc.

A community centre for the use of the inhabitants of the civil parish of Gringley-on-the Hill in the county of Nottingham without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

We run the following Arts & Crafts Group, I T Group, Gardening Group, Activity Group and social Evenings

We run social activites for our members, their carers and their families. This can be anything from meals out to games night, our members are in a safe environment with support around them. We also run information events at local Sheffield hospitals to raise awareness of Brain Injury.

THE CHARITY IS A GENERAL PURPOSE CHARITY, GIVING CHARITABLE HELP TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, THE ELDERLY AND OLD PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS. IT MAKES GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS.

The charity operates on 2 fronts:running meetings to support parents understanding of their children's educationthe fundraising events enables Oakwood to use funds to create additional resources within the school

Zooming in and preaching Sunday Services. Recording Sunday Service. Looking after Children Needy Families in Kenya Africa

Hands on charitable activities as well as arranging functions to produce contributions to be used towards both domestic and International charities in line with Rotary International criteria.
