We are a group of volunteers who offer the sport of Carriage Driving to disabled children and adults for their recreation, therapy, learning and fun. Our drivers enjoy drives around lanes,fields and woodland tracks, learning to drive competitively and for recreation around cones and obstacles, and how to take care of our ponies, carriages and harness.Members of the Riding for the Disabled Assoc.

DCV volunteers assist in the management and improvement of nature reserves and the maintenance of the public footpath and bridleway network throughout Dorset.We work on weekends throughout the year, undertaking a wide variety of work for charitable and statutory nature conservation organisations, local authorities and private landowners.

The Friends of Puddletown Library provide a centre for people to meet informally and library services for the people of the surrounding villages. Young children accompanied by their parents are provided with story telling and in introduction to reading by trained volunteers. Jigsaw puzzles and magazines as well as a coffee machine are provided for the more mature.

The Association was formed with the aim of furthering interest in the period 1914-1918, to perpetuate the memory, courage and comradeship of those of all sides who served their countries in France, Flanders, other theatres, and in their own countries during the Great War. It does not seek to justify or glorify war. It is not a re-enactment society nor is it commercially motivated.

Dorset Woodturners Association promotes the art and craft of woodturning. This is achieved through demonstrations and discussion by professional turners and our own members. Participants can learn techniques through instruction and discussion with other members. Networking is encouraged, promoting of fellowship among woodturners at all levels of ability, particularly during the refreshment break

The Charity exists to provide adults with all levels of physical or mental disability, residing in the Dorset area, the opportunity to experience formal therapeutic activity via equestrian activities either through the riding of live and mechanical horses or through carriage driving.

The Trust was created for the relief of the aged, impotent and poor inhabitants of the Parish of Lytchett Minster and Upton, to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants by grant aiding facilities for recreation, leisure-time occupation and educational facilities.

Provide grants for students going to college or University for books equipment etc.

Charitable donations are collected from lodge members with additional funds being obtained from organised social events.

Fundraising through events held at the school which include Fayres, cake sales, bingo night, treasure hunts and discos.

Funding Educational or related matters at St. James Church, POOLE.

The charity provides funds for the benefit of pupils of Spetisbury Primary School.

To relieve financial hardship in the counties of Devon and Cornwall suffered solely by any person involved or connected to the South West Peninsula Football League.

The charity makes grants for the care, maintenance and preservation of the fabric of St Peters Church Portesham. It raises funds in various ways to enable it to make such grants.

Such charitable causes and activities as the Trustees see fit in accordance with the Trust deed.

Our activities are based around our charitable aims: To advance the education of the public in the subjects of Airline, Airport & Aviation Studies and related industries.We offer nationally accredited programmes to give those interested in an aviation career an insight into a range of roles as well as practical experience in real and realistic airline & airport and related work environments.

Recruiting, training, organising and supporting volunteers to coach to read adult members of the public who have reading difficulties and thereby promote, sustain and increase for public benefit individual and collective levels of adult literacy.

Village Hall management

Holds seminars, supports exhibitions and promotes educational activities related to its charitable aims.

To provide and maintain a children's playground in the village of Thorncombe for the benefit of the inhabitants.
