Sea Cadets is different from school. There's a lot of learning, but it's done through activities on and off the water and our volunteers lead by example.It's also different from home, a break from screens and being cooped up inside. Our platform is built on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy, which inspires our work and commitment to supporting young people today.

To raise funds via various public local events, with the aim of raising more income than the events cost to host. The excess being donated to various local, national and international charities or other voluntary bodies and organisations. In addition to support the various Rotary Charities, both home and abroad

The charity raises money to restore, maintain and enhance All Saints Church Headley, its churchyard and church centre building.

Support relief of deprivation or disability by registered charities in LB of Merton and Hounslow, W Sussex in area between Worthing, Chichester and Horsham, and North Hampshire. Typical grant £1000 if making significant contribution to recipient finances. Applicants must have appropriate policies. Individuals are not directly supported. We leave 2 years between grants. Trustees meet twice yearly.

SOCIAL AND RAISING FUNDS FOR CHARITIES

To educate the public in the arts and sciences, and in particular the art and science of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities.

As described on page 15 opposite. The grants are specifically made for educational purposes. The beneficiaries have to be under the age of 25, of either sex, and have to be resident in or near Andover or are attending or have attended school in the area covered by the Borough of Andover and the former RDC. The beneficiaries have to be in need of financial assistance.

Area covered: North Hampshire. The Institute provide modern facilities for hire to clubs and for functions: Wedding receptions (opposite Binsted Church) Family and anniversary parties.

The Simon Read Foundation grants Gifts to children and young people between 5 - 17yrs whohave life limiting disabilities, chronic or terminal illnesses in the form of holidays, adventuredays, treats, trips and respite with their family who would otherwise be unable to undertakethese activities due to financial hardship

PROVISION OF VILLAGE HALL

We are a Scout Group based in North Baddesley, which is between Romsey and Southampton in Hampshire. Our group is open to Boys and Girls. Provide accomodation in Almshouses

Oakley Community Association works in Oakley, Deane, Malshanger and Newfound, providing regular events for local residents, including a Sports Weekend; Fireworks; Litter Picks; Village Show and working with other village organisations. The organisation also acts as an information point through its website and weekly email newsletter.
