Giving concerts to promote interest in the playing of recorders in a large ensemble. To introduce players to the scope of such a group and to entertain and inform the general public.We support a number of trustworthy charities as accepted by the group by giving financial donations. We give demonstations in local schools to educate and encourage young people to play musical instruments.

MASONIC BENEVOLENT FUND FOR GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES.

To provide sporting facilities within Much Hadham village with particular reference to tennis, cricket, football and flat green bowling.

The "Friends" campaign to raise funds for the preservation, restoration and improvement of the fabric of the Parish Church of Great St. Mary's in Sawbridgeworth and the provision of articles for use in worship there.

Assisting current and past staff members and their dependants in financial difficulty, through interest free loans or gifts.

General Charitable activities for beneficiaries in the UK and worlwide.

To advance the education and wellbeing of the pupils at the Cavendish School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not required to be provided by the local education authority at the school.Our main activity in this area has been to seek donations from local business and groups towards funding work in the school.

To promote public education in and appreciation of the art of wind band music in all its aspects by the presentation of public wind band concerts and by such other ways as the society through it's committee shall from time to time determine
