Local organists Association that work as a body to encourage interest in church organ music across the county.We host annual organ recitals with celebrities. Members of the association also hold an annual composite recital in various locations. We also visit churches with interesting organs where members are invited to play if they so wish. We also host workshops and lectures of interest.

To preserve the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of the Great Chishill Windmill and to advance the education of the public in all aspects of its history and use by:a/ repairing, refurbishing and restoring to sound condition and working order and,b/ conserving and maintaining the restored mill as a museum and heritage centre open to the public.

As a scout group we actively encourage adventurous activity, self reliance and development of good citizenship to a large mixed membership. Through these activities we also educate youngsters in environmental conservation and develop their spiritual and cultural awareness within the policies and objectives of the UK Scout Association.

We provide accommodation in Powys primarily intended for school students to participate in outdoor adventurous education and field study. The accommodation is also used for team building sessions, for intensive study sessions and for groups enjoying various outdoor activities.

The Roman Way Supporters raise funds for Roman Way Academy, Royston by means of events, campaigns and grants.Money is then released to Roman Way Academy for items that support extra curricular needs.

Castledon Greyhound Rescue provides a safe haven for retired racing and abandoned Greyhounds and actively seeks to find suitable homes to ensure the dogs can live out their full natural lives as domestic pets.
