The charity holds various fundraising events in order to raise money so that grants can be made to support work with indigenous people of Garo Hills, Meghalaya, North East India.

To fund projects and involvement with the fields of health education and treatment, preventative medicine, social and economic developements, community based programmes, directly aimed towards the relief of poverty or the protection of health in India, for the benefit of all local people where the projects are instigated, regardless of class, caste, colour, gender or creed.

Advancement of Education and Health of the Poor Children of India and other Countries

In the last year, 25 rural pastors have been financially supported on a regular basis. Each pastor receives the equivalent of -+-ª14/month. Pastors report back regularly on the activities that they have engaged in to the charity.

The activities concentrate mainly on providing education and social needs for the people of Karadi, which is village in India in the state of Gujarat. Various fund raising events are carried out to raise funds and then utilised for various projects in the village that help to improve the lives of the people there and in the surrounding villages. Education projects are given priority.

The principal activity of the charity is to raise awareness for Hemalkasa Hospital in India and to support its activities in eradication of poverty and provision of healthcare facilities for the under privileged.

Charity works in the area of Training, research and development of rehabilitation services in Madagascar. This improves the medical care of people with long term neurological conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputee rehabilitation etc. The charity also envisages to run a diploma program in rehabilitation medicine in collaboration in Antananarivo University.

DART PROVIDE TEAMS OF PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED ARBORISTS, TRAINED AND EQUIPPED TO SUPPORT DISASTER RELIEF OPERATIONS WORLDWIDE. IN ADDITION TO DEALING EFFICIENTLY WITH TREES THAT POSE A DANGER TO THE DISASTER HIT COMMUNITY OR AN OBSTRUCTION TO THE RELIEF EFFORT, THEY TRAIN LOCAL VOLUNTEERS AND DONATE MODERN EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE RESILIENCE AGAINST FUTURE EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS.

Funds are raised with members of the association performing Hindu religious functions, mainly at people's homes. No fees are charged, but most people donate some money in appreciation. Other income from Building society interest.Donations were made to other worthwhile causes.
