The Mahseer Trust works to advance education and environmental protection and improvement by promoting sustaining and increasing knowledge and understanding of mahseer species, and skills and expertise in aquaculture, by carrying out and contributing to research, by educating and training young people in conservation, and by encouraging and assisting with international knowledge transfer.

Chennai Challenge takes an annual trip of volunteers to Chennai. Work is carried out in schools, community centres and an orphanage. Projects are run by Madras YMCA or Oasis. Funds are given to provide resources that would not otherwise be possible. All volunteers on the trip are trained and have their life enriched by the experience.

Heart 4 The Poor is the umbrella organisation funding raising for a variety of projects and initiatives designed to alleviate poverty in India and elsewhere in the developing world. The charity's aim is to provide proper facilities for the care of the most disadvantaged in these societies. It funds and implements projects to encourage viable sustainable communities.

The preservation and promotion of art, culture and literature through workshops in classical temple music and dance, a handicraft project as part of a rehabilitation programme for homeless women, maintenance of archives and a library of relevant literature and an agricultural arts project. SAT works in conjunction with an Indian charitable trust.

HYD aims to advance education, particularly by providing Model United Nations conference and training. We host Model United Nations Conference for students and professionals and we deliver key skills to young people. We are working on promoting the social inclusion of marginalised young people by developing life skills such as critical thinking, analysis, public speaking and teamwork.

Our mission is to bring awareness of cancer such as breast, oral, cervical, bowel and prostate cancer to vulnerable people in the UK, India and other developing nations. During the years 2005-14, up to 4,015 camps were held, serving a population of 486,851 for pre-screening and early detections with 60,991 mammograms carried out. From this 2,911 cases of cancer were detected in the early stages.

The trustees are raising awareness of the charity in India and the UK. The trustees are working with other trusts set up in India in order to provide some children with education.

Children in Hope supports educational and rehabilitation programs for disabled children run by Life Aid Centre an NGO based in Tiruvallur and Parameswaramangalam village in Tamil Nadu, India. Children in Hope supports Life Aid Centre and other NGOs to promote Education, vocational training, health care support, women's development, and environmental projects in rural parts of Tamil Nadu in India.

We assist children and young adults in Nepal, India, and Bhutan with their education, medical needs, livelihoods, and career prep; including helping financially with tuition fees and accommodation to study. We help by sending them on training or other means of preparation to embark on careers generally related to health care. The charity may assist with early career plans and placements.
