The objects of the CIO are:a) The advancement of education;b) The prevention and relief of poverty;c) The preservation and protection of good health.In furtherance of these objects the charity will make grants of financial assistance to support the charitable work of organisations undertaking projects for the benefit of socially and economically disadvantaged people in India.

To promote education, including higher education for underprivileged students in India, the UK and in any country, including awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowance or grants, providing support and mentorship. This also includes the prevention and relief of poverty, including (without limitation) by providing career opportunities to students leaving university.

It is a medical charity providing affordable and accessible medical eye care focussing on management for avoidable blindness by conducting clinics for diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions. The objects of the CIO are to advance education by funding research on the subject of urbanisation and its impact on people's quality of life and the environment ensuring the useful results of such research are published.

The Trust coordinates medical (ophthalmological) 'camps' which co-locate doctors, optometrists, medical counsellors and a pharmacologist for 8 days to offer eye care to people in Jharkhand, India.The trust covers costs of care and treatment of economically deprived people who attend the eye camp. Payment is made for spectacles, medicines, and operations, and for transport for surgical procedures

The relief of persons in need though poverty, age, chronic sickness or disability (whether physical or mental) and other hardship as defined by the charity commission and in particular the relief if such persons by the provisions of financial assistance.The provision of financial support to other charitable organisations with the object of the relief of poverty as defined by the commission.

1. The relief of hardship amongst the homeless in Hong Kong by providing such persons with basic goods and services that they could not otherwise afford.2. The relief of poverty amongst children and support of their care e.g. support of orphanages.3. The support of environmentally friendly initiatives e.g. the elimination of single use plastics.

GRANTMAKER

To promote human rights (as set out in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations), in particular but not exclusively to eradicate forced and child labour, end modern slavery and human trafficking by introducing distributed technology, AI, identity and privacy in humanitrarian work.

Assist Government bodies and councils in developing countries with regulatory training and guidance in the use of veterinary medicines in agriculture.
