The Kipling Society is for anyone interested in the prose and verse and life and times of Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936). It organises meetings and other events with guest speakers, manages a website and other on-line presences, publishes a newsletter and a peer-reviewed quarterly journal, maintains a library, and organises writing competitions.

The Trust exists for such charitable purposes as the Club in duly constituted meetings from time to time directs

Building new school facilities at St Simon's English school in Orissa.Providing food and shelter for the orphans and children in the charity's care.Providing drinking water to several villages during the dry season.Providing cloth and basic materials at various distribution centres to the needy.Facilitating visits of trustees and volunteers to support the projects in India.

Arranging of worship services, young people's meetings, prayer and other church meetings. Hiring of facilities for same. Organising an annual church camp for affiliated fellowships from the UK and elsewhere in Europe. Support activities for associate fellowships in India and elsewhere. Hospital and home visits for elderly and infirm fellowship members.

We provide financial support for various projects.

The object of the charity is to further the education and training of children, assist in relief of poverty, provide overseas aid/famine relief and assist in promoting Hindu religion with the donations collected from private individuals. To advance the education to save the world environment by making grants of money to environment saving projects.

We support educational, information literacy & skill development programmes, including assistance to grassroots organisations to help build capacity in the Indian state of Assam. We publish an India-focused Open Access social sciences journal to support the scholarly community with India-focused research. In addition, we strive to make occasional small loans and grants to deserving entrepreneurs.

To give opportunity for young adults for travel in foreign countries, to facilitate young adults in the exchange of cultures; to co-fund medical research, to bring delivery of medical facilities in difficult to reach foreign areas; to fund education of young adults in foreign countries who in turn will benefit their communities and for other general charitable purposes in the trustees discretion.

During the year the charity made donations to various individuals and organisations including charitable organisations.

Christian Church serving the residents of Birstall and the surrounding area. Also supports other Christian relief and missionary causes in UK and overseas.

Friends of ROSHNI UK supports ROSHNI, a special school and therapy centre for disabled children and adults in Gwalior, India. We fund named projects, recruit and train skilled volunteers from the UK to work in India, offer technical advice, and collect resources for use at the centre.ROSHNI has over 1500 beneficiaries, affected by conditions like cerebral palsy, autism and learning disabilities

Our main activities concentrate on providing sponsorships for children and families in Southern India. We also build and renovate houses and give general aid for education and other needs identified.

Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change in India by focusing on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change.To provide education to underprivileged children in India.
