The Charity MOTHERS' UNION DIOCESE OF ROCHESTER is constituted by Deed of Trust as a registered charity No 249751. It is affiliated to its parent charity "MOTHERS UNION" a worldwide organisation incorporated by Royal Charter charity no 240531.

We provide the hall's facilities for local groups ranging through the W.I, a gardeners society, flower arrangers, keep-fit, retirement groups, childrens parties, other social events, Parish Council meetings plus a field for the local school.

We run a village hall for the use of the community.

Promoter of chamber music concerts by professional musicians to subscription paying members and the ticket purchasing public in the wider Canterbury area of Kent by live attendance as well as by online streaming of the same concerts both live and recorded. Musicians are encouraged and supported in the provision of workshops and performances at local schools.

The Selmes Trust's expenditure is used to manage the Trust's land and riverbank in an environmentally sensitive manner, generating income for the benefit of the fabric of St Peter's Church, Newenden, and allowing certain parts of the land to be used as open space for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Newenden for certain sporting and leisure activities.

The objects of the choir are to educate the public in the Art and Science of Music in all its aspects and to study, practice and perform in public choral works and to engage in other exclusively charitable activities as the choir committee may approve.

Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. Provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school as the Committee in consultation with the Governing Body shall from time to time determine.

THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING, TRAINING, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE AREA OF DISABILITIES.

We are a village hall serving Sellindge village and others wishing to hire our 2 halls for various purposes and functions (clubs, scouts, playgroups, parties, business meetings). All income to the hall is used to maintain the building and cover running costs (electric, water, cleaning).

To provide a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Kingsnorth and the neighbourhood thereof.

Environment and climate change projects, health & hygiene projects, education projects, English & computer teaching. Community youth and sport projects. Annual events such as; English language day, World Health Day, International Children's Day, tree planting, litter tidying, Older Persons day, International Volunteers Day. Support of orphans and disabled persons and community in Tajikistan.

The church is committed to making a positive contribution to the lives of people in the local community. To this end we are actively supporting the SHINE project to enable women with self worth. We run Alpha courses to share the Gospel. We run Peaced- together courses for the broken and damaged in the community. We support 'Beauty for ashes' based in Seven Oaks.

The Charity raises funds through Festivals, Exhibitions Concerts and Talks within the Village of High Halstow, by applying to funding bodies for grants and by collecting subscriptions from Members in order to restore and maintain the fabric of St Margaret's Church. The Roof, Windows, Pointing, Stonework, Heating, Wiring, Drainage and Internal Decoration are the priorities

The aim of the Medway Hindu Mandir is to promote Santana Dharma (Hinduism). To teach and remind values of Hindu religious & Indian culture, regardless of caste, creed, colour, sex, disability, nationality and be open for all to come together - all inter faiths welcome. Serving the local Medway community and nearby NHS staff and nurses with food and any other amenities feasible.
